Anybody ever had success with the whole vitamin C to get rid of a cold? I've always been skeptical, and it's never helped for me in the past. But I never tried it JUST as the cold was starting, only by the time it was a full blown cold. Well, the GF got a cold so as soon as I felt the first signs of symptoms I started downing vitamin C all the time, and while I've slowly started to get the cold symptoms, it seems to be keeping really dull. Only time will tell if it becomes a full blown cold, but I'm interested to hear other people's experiences.

Last time I had a cold I was reading about the zinc theory. Ended up reading that one of the people studying it had said that it had to be straight zinc, none of these candied bullshit or it wouldn't work for reasons XYZ, but that no one would successfully market something that tasted that bad. Needless to say, the only things I can find are candy type delivery methods.

So this new medication I'm trying makes me incredibly drowsy right when it reaches max blood concentration. So you're just going about your day at work, laaaady daaaah diii daaahhh BAM hits you like a ton of bricks, you try to fight it, you always lose, and before you know it, you're asleep at your desk. Been a while since anyone ended up in the suspension log. As much as I love to bounce people who had it coming, happy to see everyone is keeping their shit under control

I know the NA cams topic has been debated to death but I was curious if anyone wanted to offer me some advice. I'm probably popping the cam cover off in the coming month, which is obviously a great opportunity to swap to NA cams. But I plan to leave the car the way it is, mostly stock, for probably a little while longer. But I want the "drop off" in power band to stop, so I was thinking NA cams, along with the MBC, would make the car's powerband a lot more entertaining. Thoughts?

New experience today......Saliva drug test.

I was researching a bit and it seems silly for that method to be used, saliva has a maximum detection range of like 3 days where as urine can reveal certain things as far back as a month if not more depending on all kinds of complicated factors.

My guess:

The one in physical possession and the home owner get charged. Everyone else is so far only guilty of 'internal possession,' which if you even have a law against (not many states do) is most likely alcohol specific. Since they are on priv prop, they can't get public intoxication either, which would be the only stretch I could think of to at least run them through the system.

I'll be stretching a 215/40 on an 18x8.5" wheel.

I did some measurements last night...the actual wheel itself will be flush with the front fenders, which are already rolled. Should be fine as long as I cut back the fender liner towards the top. And yes I have front coilovers.

i've never seen my current TV on a Cable HD system but compared to some HD tvs i say Yes. DIrects HD is better.

my current system seems to me better than other HD shows i've seen.

I think we overpaid for the past 4 years. Switched to a new accounting firm (the one that handles the books for my business) and all of the sudden we go from owing to being owed a lot. But not complaining, it'll help pay off some debt.

I switched to a tax attorney and will NEVER go back to accountants. It's well worth the extra dough.
