Thanks to Bob and those involved.
I was promised a turbo, was never sent it, disputed via PayPal, was told he couldn't send it until the dispute was reneged... was told it was sent, wasn't given a tracking number, couldn't reopen dispute via PP website. Called today on the LAST day of the 45 day guarantee. PP has re-opened the dispute and he can either 1) send a tracking #, 2) issue a refund within 11 days. If he takes no action, I get my $ back.
PP told me that anyone OVER the 45 days is SOL through their guarantee, but the party involved is more than welcome to file a dispute with whoever issued the funds (credit card, bank, etc).
NOW, here's the fun part... in addition to Bob being the man, my lawyer (an awesome Volvo guy by the way) sent me this:
"Worse case scenario, best, and most cost effective would be to file with the US attorney general (as the fraud involves interestate mail and wired funds) and the state attorney general. Free. Typically quick online form for complaint. And it does work."
I'd suggest all who have been slighted consider taking this course of action. I'll be damned if some punk thinks he can get away with interstate e-robbery!
