I passed up an apprenticeship 20 years ago with a friend who is a plumber. I regret it all the time. The funny thing is the guy who wound up apprenticing with him rents space in our shop for his own plumbing business now. Don't look at it as just a job for now. the numbers may not look good to start..it's what it will be in 5 or 10 years when you can go on your own1 point

We have a skate spot again!!! 2 years ago our local skatepark went out of business, and while I did get a fantastic spine ramp in my backyard out of it, it left us hanging for a winter spot. FINALLY, problem solved!! Much building still needs done, but we have a skate spot that's in a heated building again This will all eventually get bowled in. Super fun to ride. Our own private piece of skate heaven!!1 point
