  1. Same code popped today on my car and had some light hesitation on light throttle. All vacuums are silicone, boost gauge shows 22inHG when idling when warm, and MAF is new BOSCH. Wtf ?
  2. My actuator rod also spun in the actuator housing when I tried to adjust it. I stopped that with a grip pliers. Yes, they say it may damage the diaphragm but that didn't happen for me and neither for you it seems. Keep up posted !
  3. You can do the inspection simpler. Just connect the boost gauge to the CBV, and floor it a little. Remember your boost onset start, and the approximate boost vs rpm you have prior to doing this. Then just look at the boost gauge, if it starts raising when you hit the throttle, there you go, your CBV is teared up. That's what happened to mine, I never reached 15PSI on my 16T and lo and behold, after 4000rpm the CBV leaked almost 5 or 6 PSI ! You could reach max boost but the turbo is and TCV are struggling to maintain it.
  4. If I might add for Debian users - /etc/init.d/bind9 restart
  5. Yeah, RAID10 (1+0) seems the most reliable, but you'll have to use a minimum of 4 drives to implement it. You'll have no parity though, as far as I remember from my Linux days :)
  6. I'm using Raid1 (mirroring) for my server, I think you're better off with faster hard disks with mirroring than striping with the risk of data loss if you forget to backup. My 2 cents...
  7. They have a core charge so it's a rebuilt unit. Alternators, turbochargers, steering racks, steering pumps, brake calipers, starters, basically everything that has a core charge and is in the Volvo Exchange program (check VIDA for that) is a factory rebuilt part.
  8. The one thing I like about these peppers, apart from them being hot, is that the next day i have no "burnt exhaust valve" :))) The pickled local peppers we find here in Romania don't burn your mouth as much, but may God be with you in the toilet next day. Didn't have any stomach pain either from the ghost peps, nor from the scorpion, but I think they were made in China because I could eat a whole one and the Scoville scale said things should be otherwise :) All in all, despite the unpleasant stuff, it seems hot peppers are actually GOOD for your stomach, helping heal ulcers and gastritis, because capsiceine stimulates the circulatory sistem in the stomach walls. At least that's what I've read...
  9. H, what dwell time are you using over 20 PSI ? Maybe it's too long and overheats the coils ?
  10. Regarding the anaerobic pink goo. I found an equivalent from Elring, code AFD 2018. Datasheet here - http://www.elring.de/fileadmin/Dateiablage_DE/2Service/Datenblaetter/Technische_Dichtmassen/AFD2018/Elring_TDB_AFD2018_gb.pdf Maybe it helps someone.
  11. Quick question... taking the fact that the anaerobic OEM pink sealant is almost 100$ here, do you know of any other similar products from Reinz or Liqui Moly / Loctite ? Thanks
  12. Isn't it the trailer module for the towing hook lights connector ?
  13. You are insane man, doing that on FWD. Thinking about adapting some AWD maybe ? You just can't put down that immense power ! You have an incredibile build ! Respect !
  14. Sorry, but in a N/A engine, aren't intake pressures always negative and exhaust pressures positive ? I don't know if it's a good comparison, but I get the picture Yep, E85 is good but can't find it where I live :)
  15. It's true you're on E85, but I still can't stop wondering how you manage to "stuff" so much fuel & air in there and don't have detonation. I have a 9:1 compression engine and at more than 1bar and 10 degrees advance, knocking starts. It's true, on 95RON fuel. Keep on doing your magic !
  16. Man, what compression ratio does this engine have, and what timing are you using ? You're using boosting higher than a diesel engine, it's crazy ! On the other hand, hats off to you, I've been showing movies of your car to my drooling friends way before I registered here. Glad to finally meet the guy behind all this. Keep it up !
  17. Yep. Same here happening here in Romania. We're growing up a new anti-social society. At least not social in the real world. Even I am finding it easier to write a friend on whatsapp or messenger than calling him, and it's starting to feel weird and frustrating. We're getting too virtual and this reflects in the day to day activities unfortunately.
  18. I fully agree with Mrsideways. I too own a small parts shop and them crediting you back is the nice gentleman way to go. If not, sue them,it's perfectly legal.
  19. You can keep the auto ECU or rewrite it with a manual firmware. I am still using the auto cable on my manual swap with no issues
  20. DO88.SE has it at a good price. I bought mine from them.
  21. Sorry, didn't know where were you planning to rebuild. Didn't want to blow up your dreams, mate Thought you were just doing a standard rebuild...
  22. Watch that 4T65EV-GT gearbox, mate. It's crapping out on stock cars because it cannot handle the torque. I don't think it will be up to your 400HP target... I've heard of almost every T6 XC90 having a dead tranny after 100k...same gearbox
  23. @tjwasiak: thanks, didn't know that ! @Hussein: yes, please, if you could PM me a link to the ADX... I don't have rear O2 output logging in my Rev5ADX. Thank you !
