  1. Absolutely...volvos are volvos and people are people...bring em all!!
  2. Mark likes Technology.... thats too bad, man...you'll be missed, but there will be more if there is interest. :)
  3. Good Luck with selling Scott...your new ide will be sooo sweet!! Be sure to post pics asap. PS: '81 was the worst year for the Yugo 16V since the internals were weaker than the '82+, but the 8v can be worked to 120 ft. lbs.
  4. i am still interesed and patiently waiting good stuff is always worth the wait. I sent my email in a while back.
  5. you and your 4 GPS modules
  6. wow...thats a clean little car, man. its too bad you have to let it go. nice color too. Good Luck seeling it. PS: I'd also like to congratulate you on a good 'For Sale' advert. Description, reason, pics (and lots), and a price. Good job man.
  7. OK..Here's what I'm thinking and I think it will be for a great weekend! I was thinking we leave from the Ikea area or D&B and head out to Nissequogue area. We can go in from fort Salonga from Sunken Meadow Parkway, and take the backroads to Smithtown, pass the park, go into head of the harbor, Harbor Hills, and end up at the duck pond in Stony Brook, take soem photos by the SB Yacht club, and decise if we wanna go further east or not. what you think?
  8. that sounds like a plan, Jumpy... we meet, eat, then drive. anyone object??
  9. hey whats up jumpy.? I was thinking of the drive being out from IKEA area to Stony Brook, and then wind around Nissequogue area ont he back roads, then drive back. Maybe we should do the drive after the pic fest and meeting, and then eat at D&B?
  10. agreed! I will be at IKEA this saturday at 11-1:00 pm (need some stuff) and I'll check out how nuts it is... so asharoken seems out of the question...but the Stony brook area still seems good.
  11. I love it when you bring out the thumbtack... :o
  12. dunno if the texture would match....but if he got every piece of trim smoothed and painted black, it may not look too good...too shiney. The mat finish (to me) is what makes the trim look good, but all body color would look quite clean and very very nice. my $0.25
  13. This is goung to sound like Im contradicting myself, but: same here...although I think the V70 nose looks good on a Cross Country, I do prefer the 850 nose to the V70. I like its boxyness much more, as well as the 850 interior (especially the door panels) Rocko's car dod look quite nice, but I have not seen it in a while. I od remember really liking the loodk of it, and he did a noice job with it.
  14. also, dont forget your cameras and tripods!!
  15. News? e are going there for lunch, then after lunch whoever wants to go for the drive can come. PS: this is an XC meet...mine will be there, and so will 2 others
  16. we can wait till the meet, and who would like to go for the drive, I will go as well...they are good roads, but you haveto be careful...they are tight, someoff-cambers, and sand, and the river is right there if you decide to go off the road. I will be keeping a mellow tempo if we go, and others can do another lap at their own risk...its a pretty easy little loop. anyone else interested in the drive?
  17. man..thats coming along sweeeetly!! yeah, Trav...I'm totally with ya! ;)
  18. ahh..sorry, it was a bit early for me this morning. I am not too familiar with the backroads on that part of the Island, but I am familiar with the backroads in the Stony Brook, Steauket, Harbor hills, Head of the Harbor area. Lots of nice Euronpan style back roads with twisties and dips and such, but its a 45 min drive east from where we are if you're all interested. Maybe we can do a scenic drive to Asharoken, but the roads are pretty normal... Comments?
  19. not sure I understand your question...
  20. Grant ...you can stay at my place of you fly out for it....but Jena will be your passport.
