  2. ^^^^^^^^THANK YOU!!!!! i think this tread is done now!!!
  3. anyways, when i mentioned the lifespan of a democracy, i was trying to point out that our countrys democratic system is coming to a end. We could have the best president in the world, but if his advisors and workers are corrupt theives, what good is he going to do. i definitly agree with you when you say he went with the "good ole boy system" on who he hired for his team, and yes it has cost him. As a choice for the president, i still think he was the lesser of 2 evils. i do believe that 98% of all polititions are corrupt, and that is why i think we are almost lived out on our democracys lifespan.
  4. hey do me a favor and show me where he had a C- average in college. last i saw he had john kerrys grade point average whipped in college.
  5. well obviously not, but do you get my point? hell screw it, i guess its too bad clinton couldnt stay in office so he could continue to ignore the problem until they did get a nuclear bomb built and dropped onto our country. they had a publically know enriched uranium program in iraq. what the hell else are you gonna do with that sh*t.
  6. merry CHRISTmas guys. i think this whole topic has started to get out of hand, just remeber, the only 2 things in life that are free are our bodys and our agency. the ability to choose what we want to do. the ability to choose to belive or not belive. there have too many things in my life shown to me that proves there is a god, or somekind of supreme being keeping me alive and well. these things are very sacred to me and not something im ready to share with people i dont know or people that dont want to understand. these are things that have happen to me since i was 5 years old. belive what you want its your right to do so. Travis
  7. you guys know the life expectancy of a democracy is 200 years? every democracy in the history of man is destroyed by corruption. my thing about bush is, hes the lesser of 2 evils. i think the need to go to war was there, because if we continued to ignore the problem it would have made its way here. communism works in a domino effect kind of way. one country goes communist, shortly later the country next to them goes. before long were outnumbered. i dont give a Darn what anyone says about bush, i think hes doing a fine job. no hes not perfect, noone is. but how many presidents have endured the biggest attack on our country(remember even the democrats were commemorating him on how well he handled 911 back then) a freakin war and the biggest natural disaster in US history. anyone who dogs him all i got to say is, lets see you handle that kind of stress!!
  8. Darn i was drunk the other night :P
  9. okay you asked for it. well let me say that i was raised in going to church every sunday for the first 20 years of my life, didnt go for about 5 years, then after my first child was born i felt like i would be doing hima injustice by not taking him to church the way my parents did. let me start by saying the belief in a supreme god has been provin to be a healty aspect in anyones life. this is speaking of people i know who have been in 12 step programs for drug and alcohol abuse that have been told to let a higher power take over in their lives. as we all know most people are going to turn their lives over to god, jesus christ and the holy ghost, but i acually knew a guy whos "higher power" was 3 rocks he took out of the driveway. another guy i knew, his ash tray was his holy power. what im getting at is when a human being breaks down and admits that he is not the greastest thing in the universe, it humbles him. that takes me to my theroy on pride. pride has destroyed nations of people, includiing the romans and the people that lived in south america in the late BC and early AD times. the biggest thing i want to get across is faith. since a higher power is something we cannot see or touch it takes faith to know that he is there. think about it, im a married man and have been with my wife for almost 7 years, i know that she has been faithful to me because i have faith in her. i know she loves me and would not do anything behind my back. i cant say i know this because i see it, because i am at work for almost 12 hours a day, but my FAITH in my wife keeps me at peace. a person has to have faith in something, weather it be that his wife doesnt run around on him, or taht the company you work for doesnt close down on you overnight(i had that happen to me in high school) what im tryin to get across is that even if youdont belive in god, its a proven fact that the belief of a higher power has been proven healthy and effective in human beings. yes thier are religions that say their way is the only way, and i have to say that i do belive that there is one religion that has a upper hand in the whole christianity thing, but i do belive that all good people will go to a good place in the afterlife. if i remember correctly, i read someone say, if your right then i lost a lifetime, if your wrong you lost eternity. i firmly belive that there is more to this life than birth and death. life is short. oh yeah i typed this pretty fast, so dont mind my bad spelling
  10. okay someones gonna say somethin to me about this one! DEEP SOUTHERN COW you've got 2 cows, one white cow and one black cow, both are equally lazy, but for some reason the white cow hates the black cow for being so lazy VEGAN COW you've got 2 cows, both are very fat and over fed, and eventually die since thier owners think its inhumane to milk them CAR SALESMAN COW you've got 3 cows. the first one make friends with you, only to lure inside his barn with empty promices of a great deal and wonderful new relationship. the second cow helps the first cow make about 5 thousand dollars worth of profit on you by telling you that its all about the monthly payment, not the price of the car. they then give you to the third cow who tells you that since you paid a credit card late 5 years ago, your interest rate is now 29 percent and that the bank wont finance you unless you roll a 5 thousand dollar extended warranty into the loan that makes a differnce of over 150 dollars a month. since your a sucker and the 3rd cow is much more educated then you, you sign everything he tells you too! yeah guess who plays the 3rd cow in all that :P
  11. seemed to have left a few out of the list, can anyone think of another to add to it???
  12. THAT WAS AWESOME im going to print that up and post it in the back of my office where only my salesman can see(cant let the customers see it) :P
  13. Ive gota million things to say on this topic, but since i didnt get involved when it first started, ill stay out of it.
  14. i need to throw my 2 cents in here. yes the japanese were terrible, and yes they did suffer for what they did after we bombed hiroshima. did you know that when we bombed hiroshema, their leaders didnt care. thats why we had to do it again! Our goverment knew in 1941 that it would take a weapon of mass destruction to end that war. You know what the funny part of the whole manhatten project was? 95% of the people that worked in Oak Ridge had no idea what was going on, all they knew is that they werent suppose to talk about anything they did or saw, and that they were helping in ending the war. The people in Oak Ridge didnt know they helped build a A-bomb till after it was dropped.
