..if my wrist wasn't busted, I could actually enjoy this thing :(

  2. Mikep,

    yes, those are BB7's...

I just installed a 6" rear rotor & bracket, as the 8" rear was overkill, and about 140 grams heavier!

We're big Oury grip fans here, been using them for 10+ years. My Kid just got some Lime Green one's for his Ibex

  3. Here's my MTB, an Iron Horse Maverick with a few upgrades ;)

EDIT: the Maverick was dismantled, and now lives on a Jamis frame

  4. A lot of you probably need to clear your cache. Beyond that you can now all fix your avatars. Most other features should be coming back online later tonight. Expect one more outage but it will be quick. It will come some time next week when more RAM comes. I am adding 4 more gigs of RAM to address any speed isues.

    I am not computer savvy...

What is my cache, and how do I clear it?

  5. Just by the price you paid and how long ago you bought them, there is absolutely no doubt that you have an older version and not the latest Xtreme version. I have had both versions, you can see the difference. You advertised your price $100, which is fair. Now you just sound like a shady seller that is trying get greedy You know you didn't pay the $180 for the latest version, so you know you have an older version. Besides, with the QBM endlink group buy right now, your lucky to just get $100.

by the way- your reply indicating you were going to adjust your price after already advertising a price has probably pushed off most of those that were interested in these. It's bad business, you should have done your due diligence and knew exactly what you wanted for them prior to advertising them.

    carl,

...and then there's the way you "stuck" your SPAM into Greg's (Slater's) group buy thread

  6. well i did rent that thing and i used it and used it and used it, then i smack it and smack it and smack it..... and no progresssssss... so i got a power saw and cut the thing off took it to the vice grip clamp it in... and smacked it with the hammer and it came out.... now i cant put in the new one.... im going to the store to buy a drill bit to bore the hole out... a little wooho....

    WTF! :o

you most likey mangled the tapered hole in the spindle. I don't know what to tell you except stay the hell away from it with a drill bit! If the tapered stud on the tie rod end doesn't fit snugly into its mating hole in the spindle, you will have to replace your spindle. Nice going <_<

  7. down pipe 750-900.

either way u have down time waiting on ecu.

You implied that you operated a 16 bay Volvo indy shop. Is that correct?

If this is true, are you going to publicly offer a <$500 downpipe?

No I have a 16 bay garage. which is the largest independent volvo repair shop in the us. Again IPD is a great company, they can be alittle high on their prices. like u said 900 for a down pipe and 700 on ecu. Iv had mine for a while, probably b4 most others hit the market. Did not pay no where near that price. So why are they now 900.

    :monkey:

  8. There is such a small Volvo aftermarket/performance niche, that it's great to see a company bring out products for the Volvo enthusiasts...

...then you have a parade of VS-assclowns that have to talk shit about those companies that do invest the time & money...time and money spent to make it better for all of us in the not-so long run. Want to do-it-yourself? Search through junkyard and eaby, piecing together your "dream car"? Cool for you, but there's no need to knock down those that make the parts packages easily & readily available for those who simply "want it that way"

    So much Hate  VolvoHate.com

  9. I make a note to look under the hood to check fluids at least once a week.

I was under the hood like 3 days ago and there was nothing

Sorry if you got the impression that I was busting on you (I wasn't)...I was speaking in general terms ;)
