  1. Nice. Like I mentioned via text. I made a typo and its actually closer to 1ms. Still very good for such a big injector. I ran them briefly in the S70 on normal pump gas (w/ M4.4) you will have to set the minimum injection time to 0 or near 0 to be able to get a normal Idle afr.
  2. Not sure if this is of any interest, but I tested my injectors this past weekend. Tried to figure out the dead time to set in my MegaSquirt settings. The 160lb High Impedance Bosch injectors I have seem to be very linear all the way down to a PW of 0.8ms. If you ever think of upgrading these should still provide a good idle once tuned correctly. The video is for PW of 10 @ 2400RPM for 900 pulses.
  3. First time I have seen that a gear broke on a M56. I assume this happen while in gear not on a force full shift?
  4. No fuse here. Didn't see a need for it. I like to use thick wire to limit the drop over the length and make sure it supports the cranking amps.
  5. I'm running 0ga in all of my cars. But it's generic wire from flea bay.
  6. http://www.msextra.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=131&t=48931#p355845 These are being used in a lot of builds out there, so there should be plenty of info out there on these. I run 4.5ms before battery correction in MS3x
  7. D585 are supposed to be the best. http://www.ebay.com/itm/GM-Gen-3-5-3-6-0-Lq4-Lq9-Lsx-D585-Ignition-Coils-/251676345925?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a99144645&vxp=mtr 1000whp GTO at our shop is running them, upgraded from the LS2 coils I am running.
  8. Time to try some LS2 coils. I had fantastic results with them.
  9. I wouldn't run E85 in the US unless you have an ethanol content sensor attached to your EMS to adjust fueling. E85 at Gas stations can have anything from 50-85% Ethanol content. It is not normed as strict as regular gasoline. If you get it at the same station you may get lucky and it be alright but it may differ from tank to tank and throw your fueling off.
  10. No, converting to RWD...motor is coming along with it.
  11. Looks like I'm at phase 6 for my S70.
  12. I never got a code for the TCV as long as I had one connected. no values need to be adjusted for that. There is only one map that you set to the max to stop fuel cut....forgot the name.
  13. The way I remember it is that O2 feed back it not fully disabled but only reduced above ~4k RPM. So the ECU seems to be adjusting for some of the lean condition that he is having mainly because of the dropping fuel pressure. H you need to address your fuel pressure problems.
  14. stutter because its too rich? there is also an AE map, Acceleration Enrichment. Do you ever register any knock?
  15. Same on both ECUs? TT and the new one? They should behave virtually identical. Like Zappo said, typically you would need to change the injector constant but it seems like the STFT/LTFT was correct the VE table. You can still work with the stock injector constant, but you can have issues with AE and warm up for example if those settings are not tuned either.
  16. The VE map (from TT) will not work if you don't keep the stock injector constant. TT does not modify the Injector constant, in only modifies the entire VE table at once for injector calibration. At least from my trial and error with TT and the 1700cc injectors.
  17. The one short term solution is to drop the base pressure back down to 3bar, that will eliminate the bottleneck for now, most likely. He will have to do a decent amount of re-tuning then though. The new injectors have enough left in them at 60% dc to cover the jump back to 3bar.
  18. You are not looking at it right. The fueling must be addressed, whether adding a second pump is the way to go is a different discussion.
  19. I do agree that you need to work on your fuel system and make sure that fuel pressure stays in line on top.
  20. Thats quite a drop in fuel pressure.Do you have the dual pump setup running now? Hard to keep up with you sometimes.
  21. The other way around is what kills engines.
  22. My holset spins for about 3 sec after turning it off. A GT3076R spins for what seems to be 30sec after turning it off. Hopefully it still "wearing" in, if that even exists on BB.
