I know that I become a headache for you,but you know too many things!!!Everything that will be used to a repair-modification like this,is it OEM?Gasket etc. the bad thing is that the most important job will be from the machine shop,so I have to find a good one.Did you check the part numbers for the pistons and the rings?

  6. Ok Mike I understand now!!!!It was my mistake(S60&S60R).I have high oil consumption that makes my very very unhappy(1litre-1000km)So I'll search for oversize pistons just to be sure that the cylinders will be straight. Does VOLVO sells oversize pistons?and what about the rings?

  8. Wait,wait there are 2 types of S60R pistons?Or they don't fit to my block?My engine is B5234T5.now about my local dealer........It's a bad story.The people there to the parts,they need VIN number even for a bolt.Many times I have had fight with them.
  9. Where sould I search for the S60R pistons in US?What about the piston rings?Is there any preferable brand for these pistons or for this block?

  12. I want to change the intercooler but it is quite expensive(AUTOTECH),but I'll agree with you that will make a difference.About the water injection,I've seen some kit for VOLVO but I've also seen to some discussions that it isn't a good idea to install this system.
  13. Do you mean before the turbo?Yesterday I changed the turbo hoses with the samco kit.
  14. Most of the times I run 100 octane,sometimes if I can't find it I run 95 octane.

I had a problemin the past with a strange cut-off,my"tuner" couldn't help me,so I found the solution myself.I changed the plugs(until now driven 5000km).I put NGK BKR EVX 11,I closed the gap to 0,65mm and is all right I think.During acceleration the engine revs go up with no misfirings,but I have the feeling that the power dissappears.

Hi again guys,I have an 850 chip tuned from SCT,I have changed the exhaust from cat. and back,and K&N air filter.My car accelerates like a rocket but in the middle rpm,while I'm moving.Many times when I start from 1st gear,and change all the gears to high rpm it seems like asomething to keep the car.the pressure most of the time is ok(1.2-1.3 overboost 0.9-1.0 stable)and stays.what should I check?These awful moments,I think many bad things for my car and makes me angry. :angry:

  19. The bad thing is that we have high taxes to the parts that out of Europe.35% up!!!I want to buy these famous IPD sway bars for the front and the rear axle,and I'm thinking this extra money for the taxes.

Next weekend I'll put the R clutch on the car.I've driven about 15000 km with the kit 271956,still no problem,but next month I'll visit an island for summer holidays and is quite risky to travel there with the old clutch(it is quite far from Athens!!!)and I don't want to return on a trailer!Something else,the GLT model for the TB and the CAMS,is it a turbo model or not?I had asked you again in the past but I couldn't find anything with the search.
  24. My car now must be about 280-290 hp at the crank,I change the clutch very,very often.Do you know SCT?I bought a chip from them.
