What flywheel is he using? You might need to reverse the crank sensor wires.
same flywheel he showed up driving with...

Is the ignition module even getting a signal?
its hot (12v)but the crank doesnt apear to be sending a signal

I gotta say, (i'm gonna be girly here and notice some cosmetics) the grill...where did you acquire the black grill and how much did that kill you? I honestly like that look.

Dang Pras, I feel ur pain.
A bit of advise for any member on this forum that tries to under take a detailed project like the few of us have done or are doing, at some point it becomes a nightmare, so please, do your research and budget accordingly.
I had my share of issues which you're well aware of but I wont get into that since we are chatting about your project.
I heard that you also decided to changed the color, WHY???? it looked so pimp before IMO.
The only thing I can say is that I hope the end results make you happy or satisfied. I'm sure Aaron will get the motor figured out but you will never get your $$ worth out of the car, might as well keep it for a while or until you return.
Too bad you live far from me because I would of given you a helping hand, now post pics and quit ranting

I got to agree with raf on this one... cars for the most part from our side... suck. BUT the upside is that Ill get to finish both our projects... and then well have to have a finished project photoshoot/underware model party!!! hot.

This works well on big stuff like tractor pulls. but on small displacement It usually just makes allot of heat. IF you need a responsive engine then its a road race car and you dont need a lot of HP. if its a drag car then you dont need a lot of response but you do want big HP. You can do both BUT IN 99.999999% of all applications the math just doesnt make any sense. IMHO.

Ok ditch the 20 dollar wheels, paint the corners to match. remove the stickers. and it would be an admirable car.

Man, I was just looking at ajhehr's buildup.....we need to figure out someway to see that car ASAP! I have a feeling that thing's going to be the centerpiece of the meet after next.

and after loads of welded panels,bars,perol pump ,brakes,porshce seat all engine in runing great,just need to sort rear brakes (only fronts) lights wireing up some carpet and some filler and spray it and its ready for a mot (4 months later)couple of pics as is at mo hope u like it

They don´t crack, they expand, looks like a trumphet. Cracks would be easier to solve.
My guess is that they expand because lack of support, the soft alu around is not good enough.
Eric: Most of his stuff is copies of Kohler Racing stuff and Kohler engines win races.
Most of Parners crazy stuff never reach the customer.
ajhehr: Yeah, I would copy the stock block but remove water pump housing and a few other parts to make it easier to make. And of course, change the area around the cylinders.

So if someone was to make a steel block,... could you just Copy the al block?
or would i need to change the block design?
where do you find a chunk of billet steel to machine?
I asume that you would have to machine it, otherwise the casting mold would be BIG $$$
So if you can copy the stock blockthen its alot of cam measuring and about 2 days in a cnc mill?
