its been in the news. the boy that had his ruling overturned and was still held in jail for the last 10 months was finally realeased.

what i've been saying, i want to go it more but i realized my post will be too long winded to be doing it from work.

well i don't think you can just ask why blacks "commit" more crimes. i think its a question of who gets convicted of more crimes. you have the stats on who's in jail, but if their were statistics on who gets charged with each crime it paints a different picture. you start to see a conviction ratio that doesn't follow equal rights. but your right whites are being convicted more, but i disagree about a rising rate faster then that of blacks, i just think that black convictions have maxed and holding steady if anything.

lol i love the "i have black friends" justification therefore you're not racist. so what if blacks have BET, whites have VH1 and Mtv get real. and i wonder which hood is throwing up signs...cuz we all know the crips and bloods run rampant in the midwest your fear is based on the fear of the unknown, just like everyone else. everybody thinks they are the down trotten ones and everyone is beating on them. i grew up in "the hoods" of houston my mom's family is from 5th ward i used to go visit them and play ball at the housing project ball courts. i was the only asian throwing it down and the most i ever got was "go run your convience store" as a joke. now white people however, once we moved to the suburbs, my dad was worth millions in construction at the time, developed the "chinatown" in houston, i got looked down as some dirty refugee. i got called gook and chink and whatever other stupid stuff white people came up with, even though my family was the richest in the neighborhood. everyone needs to stop acting like a victim and man the hell up and take care of your damn self. i hate hearing pissy stuff whining about how afirmative action is taking jobs away from the white man, immigrants are taking jobs from the americans. if its really that bad, cut your own damn grass, and farm your own damn food. stop outsourcing all your telemarketing and IT to freaking India, and stop watching the black man play football even though the white man grosses all the money in adveritsing revenue during the super bowl. people like to oh yeah! and moan, but when it comes to doing something all they can do is go and try to bring everyone else down to their level instead of bringing yourself and your fellow man up.

interesting chuck, i thought you would of just came in with a quick, "let em burn, thats what i'd do" remark or something along those lines and move on lol. but i agree, racism and prejudice will not disappear in our lifetime or our children's lifetime thats just the way it is. i've never believed that people like al sharpton and jesse jackson can make a difference. they only cause uproar and demand instant retribution, but never a truly solid solution.

yea but they're not. watched on the news last night, all the residents (and by all i mean all the white people) have left the town in fear of "what might happen" at the rally and are "gladly waiting for friday"

faith is what any man or women holds true in their heart. that includes those who will kill others that don't believe the exact same. that is their faith. that is faith. i honestly do not give a rats jerk about one religion or another, im open to hear all, and convert to none. i'm buddhist by birth, but i don't follow all of its teachings to a T. hell you can't make me go a meal with have some sort of meat on my plate, i don't care who you think you are. im gonna have bacon at breakfast, a grilled chicken for lunch and a steak at dinner. im not going vegitarian no way no how. faith gets twisted when believers follow blindly. every person has to take the teachings they recieve and diseminate it for themselves. you can't just follow what some jackass tells you. because that jackass took the teaching and understood it his own way, and now is spreading his own idiocy. we all can't be the blind following the blind, we all must be leaders for ourselves. in the end we're human, and because of that there will always be different ideas and beliefs, and guys with big egos and even bigger guns will try to force anybody who opposes them down. they may gain support from blind followers, but if all of them start to think for themselves, the support would dwindle to only truly like minded thinkers, and since we're all so different that number would be much smaller then with the blind followers. without the support thier powers would never be strong enough to take over anything. any religion that is willing to harm people (written into the text) for not following in is teachings should be seriously considered when learning it. what could be gained from harming others that don't believe what you do? nothing for you, but for the leaders it gives them more power to control. how does having people like that in control benefit you? not a single person on this planet posses the power to create a utopia for their followers nor would they ever want to. keeping followers in control is where the power is at, if they let that go, then where's their power? a newborn would never know hate and evil until it is taught those things. its faith and beliefs in its early life are based on those of the parents. we own the responsibilty to raise our children properly, the problem is everyone thinks their way is the right way and everyone else is wrong. which leads us back to being human...we all are different and will decide what we want to do. the weaker ones will always blindly follow for good or evil or faith makes it that way.

who's trying to get attention? a buncha juvi's who got into a school yard fight and got put up on adult attempted murder charges? or 6 black kids who were arrested a year ago and have had no media coverage until now. they're in jail, who's getting the attention? this is support for kids who are being unjustly dealt and had no voice. i reiterate my case and point with the duke lacrosse team case...they had media coverage every day from begining till end. and then they demanded formal apologies from everyone because "their lives were ruined" these kids will never ever get that from anybody. and thats the society we live in.

saying lets just drop the race barrier is easier said then done. it never will be dropped...not until people can let go of stupid predjudices which just won't happen. how many of you guys remember the duke lacrosse team case? ill put money the majority of you do. why did that have daily national coverage and this dosen't? you can't even do a simple google and get a good result on jena 6, you gotta dig and thats bull stuff. the race barrier is alive and well whether we admit it or not.

most definitely won't happen...its just the world we live in reverend jesse jackson, and al sharpton will sure ruffle quite a few feathers tho, and the rally tomarrow will get national media attention, but it'll die back down after that, and we probably won't hear anything about it for months. i'm honestly only aware of it because its been blasted across the local news for the last 3 days about how houston is gonna send "3 whole bus full of people" to jena to be part of the rally. in the end its just a buncha kids who should of just had a school yard fight and left it at that. throwing race into only made it worse stupider then it had to be.

been all over the news this past few weeks because theres a rally tomarrow and people from all over the US are going. look up anything on the "jena 6". if i pointed you to articles it'd prolly be bias. this case started over a year ago so there should be plenty.

it is a bigger issue then it currently is. heres a starter, none of the 6 were actually involved in the assault. nobody would name names so the school pulled all the white kids aside and told them to tell them "who was in the vicinity" so, thats what qualifys down there as detective work, find out "what black kids were in the area?" and charge them. seems a little 1900's if you ask me. Secondly, the kids were charged with "attempted murder" since when is a highschool fight become attempted murder? i've been in plenty of fights back in highschool, nobody ever got charged with more then assualt and i know people who've been put in hospitals after fights. The one minor who has already been to trial and charged had his ruling overturned by the higher courts. The court ordered that he is to be tried as a juvi and not an adult. The Jena court has not set his bond for him to be released and he's still in jail. He's spent 10 months in an adult detention facility already, there should be a ruling of time served for this type of case since the charges were lowered to "assualt with a deadly weapon" which o btw was entered into evidence as being a sneaker... none of the students involved in the "noose prank" have been punished in any way. there was a situation where some white kids pulled a gun on some black kids, that was never looked into. basically the whole thing comes down to good ol' boy antics in some back water town thats still living in the post-civil war era. who in the hell claims a tree to be the "white tree" anyways? honestly if they want any of this to be credible to people living in the "present" time there needs to be charges and punishments across the board and a serious investigation to be done in search of the true assailants not just base it on people in the area at the time.
