I got a hood vent cover when it rains.... But usually i gt my pipe out and do some rain dance and it helps... duh.

LoL well its not proven but at higher RPM you get a stronger pull with the stronger spark but its not proven.. I do notice a difference in acceleration. I think its better lol then it use to be but then again i might think of a placebo effect.. who knows it works thats all that matters.. Oh and its RED>> :D

there wasnt enough room for one big one if you look closer the battery is in a way so i put 2 small ones all toghether they put out the same opening as the one big one. so no loss of the air flow.

jsut bad pics i got the collor for the paint that matches my body paint but the wires well they are close. Zip ties are black. Correction I did pay attention lol cuz i dont want them to match.. ever heard of contrast lol jk jk :D

Well the Stage "0" is finally complete. along with some minor cosmetic mods here is my creation.. Told you its sexy. I think it looks nice with my antenna.. I remember someone did not like it eather... New Jewel on board. I like it red. It matches doesnt it? You dont even have to say It I know.. lol New MSD coil and new wires Well I think next thing im working on is some more styling... im still waiting for the damn projectors. guess what collor those will be.. After that I think ill get a new turbo and a downpipe with it. Thats it for now

it looks like this car is S70 however Im pretty sure that front bumper is S40 model does this mean you can retrofit them on s70 style? if so im in luck!!!

what do you mean whats on the battery? it might be that air pump hose is that what your talking about? Ok I agree Evovle DID a crappy JOB on the hood vent... But Its something I Have to work on later to fix. I think, I will take it off and repaint the whole thing hopefully I can hide the indentations a litle.. But thats a job for another weekend. :D

crappy looking engineering? I wanna see what you can do with a dremmel and 45 minutes of time...... I said I put that sticker there because the Hood vent is Evolve .... I wanna see you make one and then say you are better....

Ok I Just got back from the lake and finally had some time to take a pics of my new cold air intake box. That I did this morning. I bouth some 12x24 stainless sheet metal. Which I cut down with a drill and a cutting tool. I kind of went with just guessing on the size.. and used some stainless steel rivets to join it all together. Also I added alumminum angles on the botton to connect the whole thing via holes in to the holding arms just like the original box use to secure. Then I added some cheap insulation and afcourse a sticker that I just had laying around lol.. I thought it matched the collor of the insulation so it looks kool.. besides that hood vent is from evolve so it only seems more appropriate.. On a second note I think my performance has slightly increased. and did I mention the incredible sound that i get... Well enough mumbling here are the results...

i love mine. It looks soooo nice. its a bit pricey though. I hope Im the first S70 to do that!!! wooho Ok well its 9:30 and its time for some more fab skills with an CAI heatshield. Ill get more pics later.

actually i dont like the EST kit im making my own tomorrow and that was the real reason for the vent.. I bought it off evolve its V70R hood vent it comes with all the instructions etc.. but i had to make some modifications..

here is one more shot of the side. lol yeah im use to making decisions like that. I work at Gulfstream where I design motorhomes. One mistake and company is out a few hundred thousands lol but this time it was my money uhhh i was thinking i better not mess it up or its a weeks paycheck is going to a new hood... notice my door panel? ;)

i like it isometric I think I will do the other side it looks more aggressive that way., also I will paint it with rust paint so no worries. also I need to move my coil or put some sort of shield in front of it so the water from the vent does not reach any major electrical parts

did i mention I never used a dremmel in my life before... lol :") Oh forgot to mention. Since i cut that bar that was a structural part of a hood. I am getting a .125 alum bar tomorrow that im am going to secure those sturctual parts that were cut. Also I need to paint the exposed edjes with a rust paint. and thats it. im just really excited that it turned out good looking.

----under my hood --- this one is with the vent cover on... -- vent cover off.. -- and a little farther away... -- looks bad but ill paint the edges tomorrow. Only had 30 min to do this whole project... today. and here it is.. I am going to get another one for diff side. Then comes the main part.. the reason why i got them in a first place.. My cold air intake. I got me some steel 22ga sheets that im going to fab in to my intake box. more pic to come of that project later. ;)
