  1. Not a problem Andy, it was good to see you again this year!!
  2. Great Mike, I will see you there! I missed last year as well, too many home improvement projects going on. Yes, that's the right one. The showfield tickets are here: http://store.carlisleevents.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=23
  3. I just got a motel, because I'm getting too old for this camping in the rain nonsense.... I can bring the R, since I won't need the room for my tent and bed...
  4. Your write up removing the rear view mirror is excellent and I was glad I found it. I do have a question about releasing the mirror stem from the windshield. What kind of tool did you use to lift the tab so you could rotate the stem? I tried using a dental pick but I couldn't find the tab. And, does it rotate counter clockwise to remove?

I'm trying to remove the OEM mirror on my 2012 C70 and mount an Auto-Vox aftermarket mirror that has a built in LCD screen for a backup camera. I'll lose the auto-dim but it will be worth it to be able to see what is behind me.

Many thanks! Bill in Burlington, NC

  5. Thanks Rob. I'll forward this info.
  6. Is the Volvo scene dead? Group disbanded? I have someone asking if there was a group still active in Central FL.
  7. Will you start a home decor thread?
  8. Exactly right. I have two separate systems, a planar speaker and 2-channel amp for pure musical enjoyment and another dynamic speaker system with a home theater receiver for movies and other stuff...
  9. Amen...I dim the lights and close my eyes when I listen to the Maggies. I get goosebumps when the music suddenly comes alive.
  10. Yes, i love mine. They can reproduce acoustical instruments and vocals extremely well. Electrostatic and planar-magnetic speakers are still unrivaled in these areas.
  11. Speaking of older Onkyo Integra amps...I have a A-9711 which drives my Magnepans. The rest of my components have been updated since this picture was taken. Computer room has a Yamaha CAVIT amp and Yamaha bookshelf speakers paired with a Denon sub.
  12. I would suggest not bolting it down there when you get the replacement OTE pipe. It's just going to crack again.
  13. Install a RO filtration system in your house and have an unlimited supply.
  14. Oh wow, you're lucky. People have died from blunt force trauma before. Did you go get checked out?
