  1. Liking the blackout on the C30 Hussein. Looks great! It is cool that the C30 has such a good aftermarket selection of parts. I've been telling myself the next time i'm in the market for a vehicle that is where I will search first, by aftermarket. Looking on the ATP site, they have some big turbo stuff for the C30/V50/S40. Then i got sidetracked looking at the ecoboost stuff, they have some really good looking kits for both the Fiesta and Focus ST. Not to mention a 500hp capable kit for the SHO, explorer, and F150's with the twin turbo 3.5 V6.
  2. I've had success with axles unlimited in Charlotte, NC. They offer exchange service and are very reasonable. They also offer higher performance rebuilds to include larger bearing races and cages and poly boots with moly grease. Just stay on them on the core refund, took me a couple months to get mine back and it was a partial because one of the axles couldn't be rebuilt.

  4. Nice! Always thought the 850's looked great because of the trim. Anxious to see how it turns out!
  5. Are they going to be color matching any of the trim or are you leaving the rub strips black?

  7. There has to be a dyno operator that will allow you to perform the pull yourself. I know when I took the S40 in for some pulls Arthur at Dynolab here in Atlanta let me. Simply because you drive the car everyday, you are familiar with its tendencies, and how to extract its best performance.

  9. Maybe its 99+ thing, but my PTC doesn't have two lines entering, only the top which is stepped down from the manifold end port. Maybe at idle it is losing vac because of the two ports? If you'd like I can send you the PTC i'm talking about. Not sure if its something you'd like to experiment with or not. I also have one from my 01' S40 which also has only 1 port on top.
  10. Hussein, I'm sure you've already considered this, but I thought of something while installing my Snabb intake pipe. I believe the bottleneck in the oem intake tube is designed to create a venturi effect on the ptc sensor, allowing crankcase vapor to be drawn from the oil trap and a rate consistent with the increase in manifold pressure. Would it be ok to assume that the lack of this venturi effect through an inlet tube that maintains a larger diameter would have any effect on the motors ability to draw back crank vapor through the intake as was designed? Just a thought. The effect might be negligible considering the amount of pressure that your system is capable of producing over a stock system. love to hear your thoughts on this. -Adam
  11. Smyrna/Vinings, GA. Publix parking lot on Paces Ferry, Black 850R wagon lowered, Tethys, Fat exhaust. Idling in a parking spot. Same day, 850 R black, on 18's of some sort, rolled past me on Cherokee Street in Kennesaw, GA.

Thanks guys. I've actually sold this piece and made myself another. It sits totally flush now with the dash. Same color, hammered black, but this time I clearcoated it and it came out flawless. I'll post those pics up soon.
  14. your pictures are great! If you have one, could you please post a pic of the downpipe avoiding the front diff from the top side? I'm having issues with getting a test pipe section made locally and a reference picture would help show how you avoided things. Thanks! -Adam
