    Project Pras

I guess most people won't even remember me, I wasn't that frequent here or done huge things, but man it feels great to randomly come back here (like 3rd time in the past 8 years) and see familiar faces. In the past 8 years I parted out my 850, built a 964 T5 a 945 T5. Currently having a 965 on coilovers, ad08 tyres starting a manual swap and preparing for T6 swap as well. Now I miss my 850.
  2. I had been following your XC build from the very beginning... and was bummed to see it go. But, man, the replacement is really promising! Can't wait what else You do with it. It must be nice to have car which has wide variety of aftermarket parts.. readily available. :)
  3. that cluster looks amazing! I love the highlighted area around your current speed. Why tow truck for a flat? There is no spare tyre?
  4. wow, thats quite a sleeper Not even the engine bay shows how much power it has
  5. are these the Pro-sport el-cheapo coilovers? For like 300 eur? I'm interested in how these perform.. hope to see a review from You.
  6. don't know why, but Mike's pictures of vintage cars are giving me goosebumps... everytie any chance You have time at least in fulHD?
  7. On my 2.0 T5 there was only 2 holes on the exhaust side, on my '94 2.3 t5 there are 3... it was a nice surprise on the intake side I believe all of them are the same, 3 holes are present.
  8. Johann, Your new sig picture is awesome Have You thought about D5 swap? Would be a great engine for a hauler. Btw, sorry if I missed it, but how much does this thing weight? Peter
  9. As I'm a hardcore DIY-er (read: broke), I'm frequent visitor of diyphotogropahy.net.. Love creating stuff.. I found this.. really tried to concentrate, but I got distracted How did that wall get there??? LOL On a more serious note.. what do you guys think of continuous ring ligths? Never used one before, but saw some pictures that were made only with similar to this: http://www.diyphotog..._edb541f304.jpg They were awesome.. Opinions?
  10. And also give a try to Topaz Adjust.
  11. And the winner is: http://farm7.static....2173c20e5_o.jpg Great Job!
  12. is that the softbox's reflection or a window? I guess window.. judging by the position of the sofa on the prev. picture And that is one big dog I had my first ever outdoor photoshoot last weekend. Awesome expreience. Rented a RimeLite Power Action 6 pack with 2 booms. Well, it is a stupid thing. It can do 600Ws with one boom and 2*300Ws if I'm using both. BUT you can control the power simultaneously for both booms... As soon as I got the permission to upload the pictures I will. I'm interested in what You guys think :)

    Eriks 850

also really expensive BUT what you get for your money is a top notch work.. wish I could afford Rotiform whhels.. NEUs look kinda like pegs :D
  14. The new AF-S version of the 50 f1.8 is out.. for $220 the old one was like $120. The new Canon 50mm is still $120.. but that is a canon so no surprise The point is, to build up a proper nikon gear from ground up is getting reaaally expensive. :(
  15. +1 or something like that.. Mesoam, listen to them.. the d7000 is truly an amazing camera. And for $1200.. I'll have to pay ~1700 for one. I compared it to a d300s.. my verdict: d7000>d300s. It only needs a grip to make it feel perfect.
  16. btw, that is a genuine S70R :)
