  1. you didn't change much, but that made a huge difference... loving these shots Back to the 300mm, (Nikon i guess). Is it a common problem with the AF? That is not a cheap lens..
  2. I like the color ones better.. could you show the unedited version of this: My link jealous
  3. Awesome Went to shoot some bikers few weeks ago.. I was lasy and have't touched the pics since then.. not even sorting... Was fun, later I'll upload some more. But, the best part.. we found out how to use a canon 400d + 70-200 f4L Right on my birthday last month a local photoshop held a Nikon open day. It was awesome, we could actually try out most of the lenses and bodies.. D3x + 300mm f2.8 felt pretty damn heavy.. and also expensive Played around a bit with the D7000, I like, awesome body. I would totally buy it.. altough the d300s felt better in my hands. That was a really fun day. Soo, if anyone wants to give me a late bday present a d7000+ 105mm f2.8 Micro would be an awesome surprise
  4. good memories, lightning class.. I soo miss that That portrait looks good.. so far the best from you. And I'm a sucker for silhouettes soo...
  5. Hi! Nowadys we have strange sunrises/sunsets... orange.. looks awesome.. I didn't change the colors, straight out of the camera. Peter
  6. nope.. for me it doesn't work in B&W.
  7. As usual, nice shots Zaitz, loving the last one. Your PP work is really amazing. And it seems I stuck with cars.. everytime I shoot something it must be a car Friend's Audi S2.. pushing about 450hp
  8. Thanks! I love panning. It is really hard to get it right.. especially with cars that moving all over the place 1/6 shutter
  9. from the Le Mans Series If you guys don't mind I'll go a bit offtopic.. Sorry about the watermarks, but I had to.. Peter
  10. Do it! And don't forget to show us some video clips of its sound :)
  11. awesome Greg, I love oldschool stuff :D
  12. I like the orange on her hair.. it looks good IMO
  13. First ever magazine publication. Altough I'm not so happy with the printing quality. And it is not a cheap magazine either.. All the pics look noisy, and not so sharp. But overall I'm happy :)
  14. Sounds interesting.. especially the 4" lens I'm loving this one: sorry about the watermarks Peter
  15. Zaitz I'm impressed, awesome shots :o
  16. Hi! I thought that shooting drift for 4days will be tough.. and I was right But what an experience it was, best 4 days in my life... at least in this year And it seems I made good pictures. The organizers called me to tell how much they liked my pictures. I was so happy And some of my pics will be published in a local magazine!! The 18-105 held up fine, awesome lens for that price. But I can start to save money for a longer lenses and a new body. I'll be shooting at the first hungarian Le-Mans Series round at the Hungaroring and also at the Ferrari Challange. I'm so looking forward to shoot some proper race. It will be a huge challange for me. I've never been at the Hungaroring as a photographer. Flyer I'll make a "best of" selection of the drift pictures. The full gallery contains 800+ pictures.. Peter
  17. Hi! Updates Finally replaced the crappy kit lens on my d40 with a 18-105 Vr. It isn't pro stuff but for that price (~$270) this lens is pretty awesome. Vr works like charm, I love it. One thing I noticed with the new lens: noise is non-existent @ iso400 and can barley seen @ 800 even in not so well lit places. With the kit lens the max I used in darker places was 400 and there was plenty of noise I didn't know that the front lens size affects noise levels this much.. 52mm compared to 67mm is a differnce! I wish the 55-200 Vr would share the same specs.. I'll be shooting at the King Of Europe Drift series from wendsday till saturday. I'm a bit worried bc of the short focal distance but the track is going to be a small.. We'll see. And I became a photographer of a online magazine carsandgirls.hu if You are interested but it is all hungarian, sorry. Peter
