Hybrids are garbage, good luck getting that prius worked on in a few years, or replacing your batteries for 2000 dollars. People are buying hybrids bc they are fashionable. No hybrid currently made can equal the mileage of the civic hx which was a 4 cyl gas engine.

I am going to diagnose and repair a non functioning AC system, I have all tools I could possibly need including a refrig detector and a gauge tester, and 30 pounds of r134a. This would be aimed at guys trying to diagnose and repair their own ac systems rather than paying an arm and a leg for the job, esp if it involves evap replace. If I do, and take pics, as I am a amateur, would people be interested in another ac writeup? I would include all testing, visual inspection, pressure testing, charging, leak detection, and hopefully not, but possibly, an evap replace. LMK thanks, and I really mean this, thanks for VS oops reply in wrong thread but you get the idea. let me know on this I have all digi and comp stuff I would need, just want to know if this would be both useful and appreciated. btw whatever happened to UL havent seen a post in ages...

Look for John Edwards to make a comeback, and expect Clinton to be running vp, I am quite sure she will be running in that position. I am not sure who will be the Democratic candidate, but I will be surprised if it's Obama. if car is redlining, not shifting, you will keep getting tranny codes and entering limp mode. reset the light using the key technique-something I have not read here but I guarantee its true...drive forwards first. Don't back out. When your pnp is done like mine, it will not shift correctly if you go backwards first. My car is true to this 100 percent of the time, its just something i deal with, until i get new pnp.

pnp bad. maybe you over revved engine and car couldnt shift, drew code i think it might be 232 but it is incorrect gear ratio. limp mode engaged, then car goes very very slow. a car in limp mode doesn't go too well from a stop, in fact, I don't think it will go up a hill from a stop. reset the tranny code (on/off 3/4 times, alarm will sound, code should clear) I bet you don't need a tranny at all. The exact same thing has happened to me. Good Luck. edit:is the tranny slipping, ie grabbing and letting go, or was it fine until tranny arrow flashing (limp mode, dtc stored)?
