My 2002 V70 T5's warranty expired 9.5k miles ago. Since then, I've had to replace all of the ignition coils and the fuel pump- while on vaction. Does anyone know if Volvo designs their componenets to fail after reaching the 50k mile mark? I've heard nothing from Volvo. I'm beginning to think that the vehicle sitting in my garage is not a total P.O.S. that will only continue to give me problems. If anyone from Volvo is out there- please reassure me that my $40k+ vehicle will last- at least until it is paid off. If anyone has a friend interested in buying a Volvo- TELL THEM TO BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY!! I assumed, incorrectly, that Vovlo produced a quality prodect and that I didn't need it. Wrong!!
