my truck (96 f150 4.9 6 cyl) was mis firing like crazy, replaced the cap, rotor, plugs and wires and was still misfiring.

went into my trailer, found the old ignition coil out of my 98 t5m i parted out. made a makeshift connector. did the trick

now my pickup is part volvo and running as well as ever.

i currently work with robbie at a technology engineering firm.

the cost of living is absolutely ridiculous in vermont

im willing to bet at 14.5 psi with the 20g on orange injectors you are most likely maxing them out... see if you can log the injector duty cycle...

are you using the stock fuel pump as well?

playing with big injectors on stock fuel system can be a dangerous game... im wondering if the lack of power you are experiencing is related to something along these lines.

and the hks ssqv is self adjusting

and whenever i needed to tap into a RPM source i used the positive wire to injector #1 for an accurate rpm pulse

Today I drove from Silverton to Durango, a 48 mile trip over two passes with 8447' of elevation gain and 11155' of elevation loss. Gas mileage from the dash computer was 34.3! I guess having .2L and higher compression makes a decent difference. Granted it's 2700' of elevation loss, but still a pretty darn good mileage.

when i had a 04 2.5t motor swaped into my 98 t5m with a HRC 20g i was seeing ridiculous mpgs as well on the computer.
