  1. Better be. Now is time to figure out how to create proper AWD system that volvo didn't developed . They don't have any snow up there in Scandinavia. Or you should just draw some sketches and email it to volvo. I bet that yours AWD would be much better then current stuff they got. :)
  2. you are crazy !!! I know where to call for advice in the future projects !!!
  3. Friend of mine did the same damage to his engine. Driving like an idiot on k24. His issue was known couple days before he melted the piston. He was misfiring on cyl #3 . I noticed that his ipd spark plug wires was loosing connection but he ignored it. So please make sure you not loosing spark. You know those volvo coils the love to fail.
  4. I see you having fun , Good luck with it Waiting for update "piston" or "cylinder" I am going for cylinder
  5. Was only 2.3 HPT block mounted in c70s . If I am not mistaking s60 were all 2.4 +
  6. damn .That is actually hard to believe . How many miles since you build bottom end. probably dents from meeting the valves wasn't helpful too
  7. Hussain just to make you feel better. My audi S4 did the same thing after valve replacement And I bought OEM stuff , $44 per valve. This is some f... up bad luck
  8. holy shiiiiiiiiiiitttttt. what a crappy design That is a bad luck. But no worries those pistons will work for another 150k
  9. great info. It will be really useful. My new project begins in next 2 week. this time 94 850 with some serious changes
  10. you can find used tig on craigslist for $500 . That would be close to new coils that you bought from IPD any manifold looks solid . Pressurize it with 30psi . I know that it will take it
  11. Where the hell this setup came from? More specs, NOW !!!!!
  12. great . Those delete hubs you got.Did you get them on VS, or neighborhood lathe work ? And what you going to do with ignition? Cap and cam sensor custom mounting on s60 head?
  13. I will answer this question, It would take care of this problem, but larger vent hoses are recommended too, plus extra breather helps alot. But he won't take engine out and disassembly just to that now. That engine is 100%. New work is getting done on a bench, So when all the parts are ready, new head gasket , head swap Tops 2 days of work.
  14. I personally think that is to cold to work outside . Plus that tank is almost as big as dry sump. You should convert that BTW
  15. You made it fit. Nice. Let us know how is ventilation going . Also my can works spotless And I see that you figure that catch can is actually baffled ? I didn't know that
  16. My set up doesn't get any oil out of can. This is my diagram . I am getting plenty of oil thru can but it all comes back to block.
  17. just get that valve cover off and come to an Island I do some charity work for friends . And damn can't believe that you car almost burned. Fire extinguisher is a good idea.

    Eriks 850

TT and k24 , could be hard to come across. I can tell you that you can run 18-19psi on stock block. Just make sure that you will not exceed 10psi before 3500 rpms. Work with fuel map . Timing has a pretty good map that comes preloaded with tt.
  19. gt3071r would bolt on to stock return line it is a perfect fit.
  20. I had the same problems , I tried to run my car without turbo. Not a single sign of smoke. My sugestion is gt3071r, had that on for 20k on my car and never seen a puff of smoke behind. Oil is so restricted that there is now way to back up.
