  1. Yeah No go for me. Tried last couple days and like 5 minutes ago. It doesn't work.
  2. Oh yeah, there are aftermarket better replacements (killer B motorsports makes the pickup tube for example)
  3. NA's are not as problematic (aside from headgaskets and oil pickup tubes) it's usually the turbo ones having the big issues
  4. Yeah a brand new car with denied warranty because it was "his fault" the oil pickup tube failed and he spun a bearing.
  5. Nah, I just blew the engine once. But those are the "common" issues with all the 2.5 liter engines.
  6. Ringlands, headgaskets, spun bearings, oil pickup tubes cracking ...
  7. Waiting for Kevin's comment on how BMW is the superior and best selling car ever ...
  8. I can relate to that. Sometimes it's even colder in the garage than outside.
  9. And by the time the season for those events actually starts, he's gonna blow up an engine or a transmission
  10. Looks awesome. But the $6500 price tag is just a little bit too much
  11. You probably get a hard on for anything that has a BMW logo on it.
  12. I know the stud is there. That's why We never accomplished Lee's timing belt at Your parents garage during that winter meet. But when We did Tommy's timing belt, We cut the old one, and the new one just slipped right in. After about 20 minutes of fighting with the god damn thing.
  13. Cut the old one and wiggle the new one in. Patience is the key.
  14. Pushrod on brake booster might be too far and it's compressing the master cylinder a bit causing the brakes to drag ?
  15. 1988 celica all-trac But they use the same proportioning valve on different toyota/lexus models nowadays. They haven't changed it since 1984.
  16. I mean the proportioning valve is bad. This just happened on my buddies Celica. Brakes worked fine, bled them, squishy pedal, bled them another 20-30 times (no kidding) still the same. New proportioning valve, bled once, boom. Good as new. There has to be something about them getting air or something, cause we pulled 6 junkyard ones and they didn't work. Had to get a new one ($180) but brakes work perfectly.
  17. just one. For now. Picture borrowed from google:
  18. Does this belong in the pissed off thread? Oh, it is in the pissed off thread
