So while everyone is talking snow tires, it's time to upgrade my winters wheels from 16" with Dunlop SP Wintersport 3D which have made it thru 8 seasons (I only run them for 4mths max) and could make it one more, but I'm going to 17" w/Dunlop WS 3D or 4D, anyone know if there is a big differeance? I've read it's got better sipes that lock together for better steering responce and are less "soft feeling" compared to the 3D. They are too new for reviews on Tirerack...
Though about just running All Season Gereral Gmax tires, but with the amount of snow last year I'm rethinking that.. With AWD I've been able to run Summer tires (General Exclaims) once or twice when I caught out in it. My main issue isn't traction it's ride height.
