  1. So killer Greg! Can't wait to see them installed!

Yup...maybe it's because you needed ones that wide that there is an extra cost... I ordered 15/20 adapter style spacers with all hardware for $285 shipped, the adapters themselves were only $260 IIRC, it was the hardware for the slimmer adapter style that costed a bit more because I could utilize the stock lug bolts at that width. Did you buy yours from the guy in Florida (maybe not Florida...) that makes them on his own? I know that's where Gary bought his from a while back. And of course mine are hub and wheel centric. Wouldn't risk running non hub or non wheel centric ones ever.

Not sure how 130 is $70 cheaper than MST for a pair... Mine were 260 for 4 shipped... Where did you order yours from?
  4. I've ridden in a few cars with KW... they handle a bit better, but I can't really attest to ride since I've spent the most time in my car with the D2's. My car is almost as low as possible on the D2's in front with no modification, the rear of my car has shorter springs, which in turn, still allow me enough thread to crank them down until the fender sits on the outside of the tire. It's really just annoying because when theres salt on the road, you head every bit of it bouncing around the inside of the fender, my plan is to install the back half of the fender liner, it will still allow me to clear the tires, but block stuff from being thrown into the inside of the fender and making noise. The only other issue is without fender liners, all dirt and stuff get thrown backwards and it ends up dirtying up the front of the front door jambs. For a while I couldnt figure out how dirt was getting in there until I realized that it was because of the lack of fender liners.
  5. Clearly you've never driven a car without them... Lots wrong. Door jambs get dirty, any rock on the ground is heard bouncing around the wheel well and the engine bay gets dirty... You wouldn't event know what it's like.
  6. I have no fender liners. Zip tied it to the wires that already run along the top of the inside of the fender.
  7. likely none... these wheels are RWD offset which means the offset is a lot lower than that for a traditional FWD wheel. This effectively makes it look like there are spacers installed to become more flush, in fact, that is just how offset works.
  8. Went to a doPe piano bar and had a blast with my fgorlfriend. Now we're in a cab going back to her place so I can lay the pipe. (if you know what I mean)
  9. Bummmmmppppppppp Drinking leftover beers. Success! Anddd one eyeing the shit out of this post edit!
  10. Don't really have anywhere else to post this pic since I don't need to make a thread for it and it's not my car but it is my photo. Kyle's Evo by JVC8790, on Flickr Maybe it fits in here...
  11. Just put one 2x4 on the front lip of the wheel, and one on the inside lip. You'll be fine, wheels are much stronger than a 2x4 and will allow you to compress the suspension to get a better idea of how it will sit.
  12. You really need to put the car on the ground on the wheel (with something under it of course), with the suspension decompressed it will appear to poke a lot more than it will. What are the offsets and widths on those? 17x7.5 or 8 probably around ET20 or so. I would set the car/wheel down onto some 2x4's to see where it sits then, with the right tire and a fender roll I'm sure they'll fit.
  13. Boostabear on instagram... car is pretty dope, and it goes sideways.
  14. Jonathan, used to have a silver 242 on the same wheels. Met him at SoWo, he's super cool and his car is super dope too.
  15. I wonder if the silver fox is on here?!? She must be a volvo enthusiast, there is no way she just happened to be a Volvo owner. You should probably put a note on her car next time you see it so she can come to the meets!
  16. I'll get it setup as usual, give me a week or two to get it up.
