Trying to decide - at the very least I will do the Rouge Roubaix Gran Fondo, but I may not race. Primary focus for the season is to upgrade from Cat 4 -> 3 and if I skip the 'race' it will give me more time to put in big base miles.

Dude - what was it, about 5500ft of climbing in 50 miles? You're a monster. I did about 61 miles and climbed 750ft. What's the wind like up there? I was fighting 15-20mph wind most of my day - it's the only thing that makes up for the lack of climbing around here.
