sickburn if coming from anyone else Everything was closed and no lights telling me otherwise -- but I made the rounds and it was the hood. Thought maybe some combination of remote keys was turning that on/off.

lights don't appear to be flashing when i lock the s60, and I don't have any dash lights when I try to drive... did I press something to disable that feature?

Can't easily tell if you can drive/insure a car in that salvage-title state -- I did read for VA you can't take it on the highway, but I don't know about other roads. Either way, highway being important, you might want to get this lined up: http://www.dmv.state.va.us/vehicles/#salvehlawreq/repaired_rebuilt.asp //edit: looks like it has to be done by someone with a rebuild license?

Yes, that I'll look at what I have tonight, or I can just measure... I think the deal was that the pins came on a rail, but the female sides were for "repair" and came pre-attached to about 6" of wire.

I don't know that there's a standard -- maybe per make there is. I know volvo uses a certain style for a lot of models/years (86 through 2004, in my experience at least) i've re-purposed a few plugs from C70 in the to 240 -- and you can buy new pins/sockets for them from volvo (+ a crimper, which i need to find).
