  1. Mike: I'd suggest you don't paint the entire frame Saffron, but perhaps the seat and head tubes, or just the stays. I think the contrast between the natural metal finish and that color would work well. The right wheels will be key to making it work. My 2 cents. -Wm.
  2. Tommy., on 03 Jan 2013, said: 6'4" I was in the middle of adjusting the seat post in that picture but it sits only a little lower now. Thanks for the chuckle! Your frame must be 63 CM+, so you're still tall! BTW, nice wagon too. Regards.
  3. That is one hell of a find. Perfect! Damn. You must be 7 feet tall. Nice color scheme. Sunny and 68 degrees in So Cal. No traniner required.
  4. Well, the Pegoretti is finally home from its birthplace at Galen Cycles. Hope to take it out this weekend for its first ride.
  5. Then again, there is fine Italian carbon too.
  6. This is my latest build. Just finishing up and hope to ride it by the end of the month. -Wm.
  7. I could live with 180. I need to stop lifting weights. And eating Oreos. Double Stuffed... My next build is:
  8. Moots: Zip 95/208 28/32 Hubs, Sapim CX-RAY Aero Spokes, DT AL Nipples, DT RR1.1 Rims. Built by Steve Gravenites. Colnago: DT Swiss 240S 28/32 Hubs, Sapim CX-RAY Aero Spokes, DT AL Nipples, DT RR1.1 Rims. Built by Steve Gravenites. These are pedestrian wheels? Glad you like the bikes. Thank you for your compliment. -Wm.
  9. That accident was indeed unnecessary and unfortunate. After reading the news article, it seems the driver is trying to cover up his actions. This is but another example and reason for all of us to ride defensively.
  10. I like your bars. Do you find the naked carbon gets slippery during a ride? I'd guess that as long as you're wearing gloves, it's not a problem.
  11. Very nice, Matt! Very clean. I like it. I'll bet it's a great ride. -Wm.
  12. I LOVE it! That chain is wild! Nice color combinations too. You and Spoony are into the single speeds. I'll need some pointers from you both. Hopefully he'll post his. It's nice! Good work! -Wm.
  13. QUOTE (matt b @ May 9 2008, 11:35 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>You're lucky, I'd take any Colnago over my Litespeed, any day of the week! Thanks, Matt. I wouldn't sneeze over a Litespeed. A quality bike to be sure. Not many are so fortunate. Enjoy it! -Wm.
  14. LA, CA area; about 30 miles due east of downtown. Not many areas to ride in this metropolis, so I have to get out on the road very early to avoid the cars (no offense to Volvo owners). I enjoy my wagons because they're also really nice bike racks. No need to dismount the front wheel. -Wm.
  15. Thanks for your comment (no sarcasm). I needed a good chuckle on this Friday afternoon. I appreciate it. -Wm.
  16. These are a few others I have put together. I feel a bit silly posting pictures of my bikes being new to your forum, but it's nice to share with others who appreciate them. Thanks again, -Wm. PS. I'd guess you now understand my username.
  17. Yes, it's all Campy C-Record with the Century finish. Everything is NOS. Trust me, the C40 rides very nicely - better than most of today's carbon frames.
  18. I have a few. Thank you for your compliment. I appreciate it. -Wm.
