    I should clarify I do not want it to be "always on" i want to be able to turn it on and off, it gets REAL annoying when they start popping up while your working, I know i can set it to private but still i just want to turn it off, less stuff runnin when i dont need it to be. Ill check out pidgin btw, thank you. It looks pretty simply just have to set it up n get the right plugins..

    anyone recommend a good andriod/pc texting app/program to text from my comp.. Iv been using zipwhip and i hate it.. i dont like it needs to alwyas be on or else youl get texts from the last tie you logged off. and they dissapear before i get to read them.. i need something that doesnt suck.
