Adam sent me his first attempt and it definitely had less timing pull. He then sent me another version with even less sensitivity, but I'm waiting for a new cap and rotor because I started having some misfires in boost and this happens every 6-8 months with the MSD 6A I can't test the new tune until the car is running good otherwise. I'll keep you posted.

Adam is currently working on desensitizing my knock detection to help do away with my excessive timing pull issues. I'll let you know if it works out. Doug

Hopefully someone who has completed this swap will chime in on how they dealt with the motor mount. Worst case I'll have to machine one but I'd rather not.

Let me know when you encounter this roadblock so we can both be frustrated. Did the 99 and 00 s70 use a different subframe then the 98?

I'm currently in the middle of swapping an 02 engine into my 98, I have found that the 98 front engine mount doesn't mount to the 02 block, and the mount that came on the new engine places the hydraulic mount about 3/4" too far to the driver's side. This causes the engine to sit crooked and out of alignment. What mount are you planning to use? I thought I would be able to use the one from a 99 s70 but that one appears to be the same pn as the 02 mount.

Still pulling timing pretty bad?
