    .pdf instructions for replacing the timing belt on the 850.  a note: for 1993 (i don't know about other model years) there are actually TWO different size belts depending on serial# & date of production.

    some models "require" an updated knock sensor that is different from the stock/earlier version. this .pdf is a guide for replacing models that need the new kit.  this file is for a '94 turbo but according to the subtitle it applies to 92-- & up.  i'm not sure about which models do or don't need the newer kit so make sure on your own about your model.

    a shot of my mother's volvo: a turbo, 2008 S. i took the intake out to do the PCV. the intake has the bolts off & is loose but still sitting in the compartment so that we may see more of what, exactly, is going on in there. roger over. Cpt. Under Out.
