My brother just installed a natural gas heater in his place(my old shed) about a month ago. I will see if he will put pics on here.

Anyone ever driven a tow truck, or worked for a tow truck company?
Any insights as to what I might be getting myself into if I accept this job offer...?
Hook or flatbed? It can be a crazy job. You see some scary things at times.
I did it for extra cash for 3 years.

found out my dog has pancreatitis.

Sigh. I'm at the apple store hoping I can get a new iPhone. I got my 4s on friday and the volume down button is messed up. The volume goes down randomly without me pressing anything. I have the worst luck with phones.
My Iphone 4 did the same. I just restored it back to original and it seems to be working.

How's the heat been up your way so far this year?
Yes, random I know.
About two weeks ago we had a few back to back 100+ degree days, sucked.
Speaking of random. I still love your car. Nicest red Volvo on this site. hahaha
Actually my wife who is far from a car person, wants me to find her one like yours.

The simplicity of this makes me want it. I think for summer cruising it would be sick!
Agreed!I would love one build the same but powered by a Old Carb'd red block.

We're using a ~10year old dustbuster for quick clean up around the house, but I notice it's battery really doesn't hold a strong charge for long now. I was wondering, have dust busters really improved much over the past decade? Are there any real powerful suckers out there now, or are they still limited to minor stuff and wiping it over stuff 3 times?
I have the Dyson one. Its awesome. One pass picks up everything. A little expensive though.

avoid a fight with who?
AND lets hope that thing does not get sick.. dogs are expensive to take to the vet.
just go take the dog to a non-kill shelter and call it a day. if you are hurting for money and on un-employment.. why would you keep a dog? It just does not make sense.
Neither does drinking and driving. lol sorry I had too.

I suggest stretching. Or try showering more often to get use to it.

I emailed Volvo Canada HQ to get some info on the S70 T5 SEs and got a response saying it was just the SE was just a badge they put on and have no statistics about them.
When I worked at the dealership we use to say this. " its basically a T-5 with alot nicer interior.

Dave doesn't have many friends
Are you surprised? LMAO
-
My friend with an '03 Corolla XRS seems to think it requires 91 or 93 octane, and that anything lower would make the car run poorly and go "blub blub blub" at idle...
Your friend is drunk. lol

I thought you wee polishing the VOLVO on your grille. LMAO

Anyone have some valuable info to share on XC90's ? The good, the bad about these SUV's ?
I know that the 6 bangers with the twin turbo is worthless if maintenance wasn't done perfectly well, how's the V8 ?
I know the 5cyl's are great. The V8 is also good. But U.S got different ones than us in Canada, so I have no input on that.

get the t5m on ebay .....
anyhow still stuck at home , still waiting for them to dig out my driveway and the street ..... dumb
So worth the 60 bucks a month. lol

Definitely! (on both points )
My main regret was not trying hard in gr.8/9 French and giving up on it after. I'm hoping to do well in this course and then go on further in learning the language.
Thats what I was thinking 3 years back. Good luck on school. Very wise decision.

No shiit? I guess I will try to find 93 NA cams then. Thank you for that bit of info, I had no idea they would be different.
By chance, do you remember if you used the sprockets off of the 93 cams or did you use the sprockets from the T5 cams?
I used the T-5 ones I believe. I can check in my build book.
-
So can anyone confirm 93 NA cams same as 94+ NA cams?
While I was working at a Volvo dealership. I built up a T-5 and I also had N/A cams from a '93 and a '95. I had the head sent out and the guy at the machine shop used the 93 because the duration was larger than the 95's. I also verified the findings in the books at the dealership and the part numbers were different also.
