  1. reclock the chra so the drain is angled towards the drain port on the block. Hopefully your other lines will allow for this.
  2. It also has a t3 flange unlike the dsm one yes that is it.
  3. this man speaks the truth...we know youve got the money for it Hussien ;)
  4. you guys all going crazy over rear mudflaps haha, i also have a pair of rears up for grab for anyone that wants them. Already sem trim blacked all the cool kids have them... ....had :(
  5. need more whiteblock in my life!

  6. it all comes down to how much hp you want to make. And by the way, almost every comment made in this thread about hp capabilty is in reference to a 4cylinder with the exception of me and hussien...There is a difference between a 5 cylinder 2.5 and a 4 cylinder 2.5 fyi....
  7. thats definetly not a 10cm2.... ditch it for a real hrc 20g, that things gonna be too small.
  8. Well in that case you can just buy the stuff online and do it yourself. ErikF might know what works, he has an aeromotive fpr and braided lines on his 850, shoot him a pm. As for the return, it would be as easy as cutting the rubber hose coming off the fpr and shoving a barb in it and adapting into a AN/JIC fitting and then you can run braided lines with an fittings. as long as you use a proper barb and clamp you will be fine but of course its not really ideal. But if you want to retain the stock location fpr its your only option, other than welding a fitting to the fpr. The fuel supply line should be easy once you can figure out what size the fitting is.
  9. on a pre me7 rail? one is a jic fitting i believe not sure the size and the return is the fpr which is just an oring in a hole... just take the fuel lines and rail to a hydrolic shop and tell them you want a braided line with those fittings, thats the easy way....
  10. extremely good point, batch fire, i ALWAYS forget that! The main reason i dumped the ms for vems...full sequential B)
  11. my greens were at 88% duty cycle at 302whp. So i wouldnt feel comfortable trying to make more than 300whp with greens, that was with ms2 fwiw. The clicking noise is not the solenoids its the cvvt hubs. They need to be set properly, if the timing marks line up it will run but timing will be off, if it was running on me7 it would throw a code for timing. Either get the cam locking tool or like you said, take it to a shop.
  12. I cant remember off the top of my head, its been way to long, ill see if i can find a config somewhere(again), but i think timing was relativly close to what you have, i think i had a bit more on the top but afrs where alot richer than you.
  13. I wouldnt be happy with those afr numbers anywhere on that log. Your not building a race a car nor do you have the ems or tuning equiment to be tuning for that kind of lean power imo, not much head room with those numbers. I would be targeting no leaner than 12 and no richer than 11.5, i was happy with my tune on my vems it ran very consistently at 11.7-11.9 and i had the piece of mind that it was safe but not robbing horsepower. if you cant do that with TT then just dont even bother putting more time into it and just baby it until you get the vems running( i know i know i need to find my db9 plug so i can hook it up to the computer). Is there a reason the afrs are never steady? does TT suck that much? lol
  14. Pretty sure im going to buy another 855 and rebuild my car....just sayin.

  15. Holy hell H, 9340rpm! jesus christ im buying cams for my motor, i have to hear what this thing sounds like at 9k btw, i keep forgetting to grab my ecu and pull the config, ill try and remember, let me know if you really need it asap and ill get my ass in gear
  16. yep, best bet is to just pick up a resistor box off like a 6cyl acura and wire it in, done.
  17. i agree, dont think i would ever consider using fuel cut by itself as my primary way of limiting revs. either way, the ecu didnt limit the revs, for what ever the reason. Sure the clutch slipping would let it climb quicker in the rpms than if it was grabbing but thats why we have rev limiters, if its not going to function when you need it the most whats the point in having it. im sorry but H, your car just keeps proving to me that TT sucks lol. Your car is going to rip on the vems at 9k rpm
  18. hasnt TT wasted enough of your time and money yet? get the vems going once and for all
  19. how much did you save by buying the unassembled vems unit? I bought the preassembled ms2 and vems, never regreted that, for me its time that is better spent somewhere else and the piece of mind that the guys that build them everyday assembled it. I assume you just wanted the experience from it?
  20. I have also heard those horror stories, but with proper masking it shouldnt be an issue, non the less i cant say id feel comfortable having someone else do it to my motor, but i wouldnt think twice about doing it my self at work, the finish is great! But your painting this block like the last one correct?
