  1. Wanted to clarify this post (years later) that I found a hairline crack on the expansion tank cap shortly after this post, and a hairline crack on the reservoir itself a year-or-so later. These had both been causing me to overflow coolant. There is no expansion issue that I've found, as-supported by others' findings.
  2. Trimmed up the quote a bit. Since the volume of fluid has increased the volume of expansion also increases. I didn't measure the fill volume so I don't know how much I added, but I think it's 10-20% more with the torque converter cooler no longer required (MT swap) as well as the increased core depth, by about inch/2. If you haven't had any issues it makes me curious if I'm having a different cooling issue. I assume the PN on the reservoir is common between MT/AT.
  3. Did you have to put in a larger coolant overflow reservoir when you upgraded the rad? I'm starting to get overflow during hot soak with the larger capacity, and I assume the overflow is the same size for Manual/Auto.
