I am learning. Although I feel I am pretty good with a wrench and know a little about what goes on "under the covers" with my car. I have found that there are a few folks here whose knowledge seems nearly "encyclopedic". I come here most frequently when I am in the middle of something with one of my cars, be it performance or maintenance or much to my wife's dismay, shopping. I know I hold my ground a bit too firmly occasionally but try not to resort to name calling (mostly). I just bought another car, a 99 S70 for $600 because it has tranny trouble. I wouldn't feel comfortable doing so without the resources available on VS. Thanks to everyone who makes it the resource that it is. As far as the aftermarket goes. I am thrilled. When I bought my R in 01, there wasn't much available. I'm guessing that this site and perhaps other like it, are, in the main, responsible for the surge over the past few years in the wide variety of bits and pieces that have become available. Frequently, you actually have a choice of competing products. Props to Chuck for keeping it going. Props to the rest of you for keeping it alive.
