  1. So bored at work. I'm getting paid to be on VS.
  2. No. I was using my friends T3i and the stock 18-55is lens. Nothing special :/
  3. Lol. nice job on the pictures. Awkward angles though. Keep it level and see how they turn out. It looks awesome though the lens but maybe not as much.
  4. I was in the tri-cities this past weekend. That was fun. Got like 20 shades darker, yay for being asian...? hahaha
  5. What is up with you and clear corners? Do you absolutely hate the color orange?
  6. Haven't shot much lately due to the lack of a camera. Took a quick trip to my Uncle's in the LA area and got a decent shot of him.
  7. Just PM me with a good time to come by. I'll be running around on Friday, would that work? Or would I need to come get it sometime other than Friday?
  8. What part of Utah was that? Were you just there? I'm there currently for School.
  9. Going off this topic, I have seen quite a boom on eBay with Volvo exhaust and aftermarket support. Just go onto eBay and search Volvo OBX, you'll find a number of exuasts for a number of cars. S60s, S40, XC90, Downpipes, Etc. It's great!
  10. This any better? Quick exposure up with LR3
  11. Thanks man! I though it was a little dark, but I didn't want to blow everything else up in Lightroom. Let me play with it a bit more. I shot in raw so it should be a little easier.
  12. Anybody have any advise on this picture? I just got CS5 and Lightroom 3 and I've been playing around. What I'm trying to get the orange out from her hair to make it less...orange. I tried to get a lot of the detail from what was burnt out back by burning, but I had no success as it was far gone and I don't know any tricks to isolate it without making it look too burnt in.
  13. A few from today. I got lightroom 3 from a friend, so I've been playing around. I don't know how "Good" these are by any means, so criticism is welcome.
  14. The only interesting thing about it is that the sun was red at the moment. Other then that, it's not that great of a picture. I wish I had an SLR on me.
  15. Used a Canon Powershot SD110IS. Point and shoooot. The sun was super red for some odd reason.
  16. I probably should setup up, but I don't have the budget for it. Having Photoshop/Lightroom would be amazing, but I just don't have the money to spend on it And I would rather get it legally then a cracked torrent version or something. That is what I was thinking. Even if it's underexposed, you can brighten it up. If its overexposed/underexposed, detail is gone and it's just white/black :P
  17. Looks like I got a lot to learn then :P
  18. The shot was done at F/7.1 ISO100 1/200" So I could have stepped it down to stop overexposure?
  19. Thanks! I'll take them into mind. I've only really taken one photography class. I never really got "formal" traning, thanks for the advise though! I'm still a amateur. As for the woman's face, could I just burn it more in Gimp?
  20. it just gave it a nice look to it. My recent trip to California, it's my cousin with her son. Taken with a Nikon D40X. Totally not used to Nikon :D
  21. I slightly mooched off you and stole the boarder idea.
  22. My friend is getting this lens because it's unbelievably sharp.
