I'll just add photos from Trevor here. Car will be for sale shortly. I already removed some of the rare parts off of it, but it's still a nice, well sorted wagon that needs nothing. Pics

Thanks! That one was printed at local vinyl shop, but it was pricey You can get diecut banner here, and just make the sunstrip from regular vinyl yourself On another note, I recently got a wide set of Epsilons off Corvette, so I'll start on polishing lips and swapping barrels this week

Thanks guys. That is the plan, there's the hole in the box for the venting tube, but I don't have one and didn't see any at PNP. Might have to make one myself

Let's bring this up to date. Dealing with a bodyshop was a nightmare, after numerous broken promises I finally picked up my parts just to find out that the color is off. It's not that bad ,so I'm gonna have to live with it. Also found early 850 at the PNP that had rad support that is not fiberglass and is nice and smooth, looks much better than my old one. So took the front end apart. Again New one on top IPD prep cut and buff Good to go Badges will go back eventually Also installed these sidestripes and windshield sunstrip for IPD Garage sale So that's about it. Recently installed ARD NA tune and have been putting plenty miles on it since. I'm gonna have to replace both axles pretty soon, but otherwise it runs and drives top notch.

Time to update this. A lot have been done to the car and even though I had a pretty good reason to believe it might never run again, it does. And I successfully made it to IPD Garage sale. So I wanted to relocate battery to the trunk, and was planning to fit the box either outside or in the tire well, but I certainly liked Dougy's way, which allows to keep my spare and have all the trunk room -so that's what I did. Here it is: Kill switch doesn't work, so still have to work on that

Yeah, I would want to agree with you there, but I still have 4 wheel lips I need to polish soon. Granted, it should be much easier, at least I hope so :) Uploaded some photos from my camera: Porting mani Cam cover is a nice charcoal color now Zinc plated stuff And a few of a work in progress While doing work found coolant reservoir sensor wires broken off, also there was no rubber seal on the old thermostat. Wasn't really surprised to find timing belt all cracked up at that point too, even though previous owner said it was changed recently when I bought it in '15. Not even sure if it was ever changed? Car has 160k on odo. Anyways ,just glad I caught it before it snapped. Sacrificed injector cover in hopes it would help to undo crank pulley bolt And Unorthodox Racing underdrive and OEM pulleys Want to drop in my beefy QBM endlinks, as D2 endlink broke on one side, but I'm missing one bolt on those. Anyone knows where I can get those tapered spacers thingies?

Way too hot to be working outside in the last few days here in the PNW. Got the package from IPD this morning with engine mounts and some other stuff, so those were done today. Did timing and serp belt yesterday. PCV is done too, now just have to finish buttoning everything up and redo some of the wiring. Earlier decided to polish thermostat cover- and it was nice and shiny in no time, so I thought I might as well polish the intake. On the third day of doing that my phone's fingerprint scanner stopped recognizing my poor beat up and sanded fingers haha But in the end I'm pretty happy about it -came out ok for doing it for the first time

Thanks Johann, looks like I figured what the problem is now So, updates on my progress. First, the plan was AC delete and clean the bay the best I can. That didn't go as planned, and snowballed to quite a list -AC delete -Timing and serpentine belts and waterpump service with Unorthodox Racing underdrive pulley install -Gasket matching intake mani, PCV service and EGR delete -Rad replacement and aux transmission flush and cooler install -Battery relocation -Swap to non thermostat Intake box -New engine mounts -Polishing, painting, zinc plating, tucking some wires and just making look good At the moment stuck with the 30mm nut on the crank pulley, will be getting a impact wrench tomorrow, hopefully that will do

That's news to me. Just like Greg, I thought we didn't get any prefacelift 850 wagons in the states Stopped by the bodyshop and everything is right where I left it. I'm going to California for a week and they promised it to be ready by the time I'm back

Thanks. I would kill for 93 rear wagon bumper Received some NOS Bosch Pilot fogs. Really wanted to find Volvo OEM Bosch lights, but those few I've seen on eBay went for over $300 These have Bosch logo on covers. I just might put Volvo decals on those later myself Still not sure where I want to mount those, thoughts?

Not much happened since October, the car was running great but rear driver side caliper seized, for the second time, in February which I decided to replace together with hard line that I successfully stripped the fitting on And now the exciting part - finally started '93 front end swap last week. I've been collecting all the parts for a while now and dropped 'em off at paintshop last Monday. So,naturally, 93 front bumper and skinny headlight moldings, also my original hood, v70 sideskirts, clean rear bumper and spoiler. In the meantime I did install the bigass 93 headlights and new corner lights from Korea. I got headlight housings from Junkyard and used new glass from eBay seller in Lithuania. While I had lights apart I reinstalled inner wiring from newer light and epoxied a plug on the back of the housing. On the 93 lights wiring goes straight to the bulb through the twist on cover. Then drilled a hole and epoxied a little wedge bulb in the side of the reflector to use as a city lights. Always liked that look on VWs I did wire my low beam to that and highs as low beam Did some weight reduction- junked headlight wiper motors then relocated the horns( so much room for activities on NA cars), trimmed the brackets and painted whole rad support. Decided to move DTC box under the fender to clean up underhood a bit, did that and wired repeaters while there. I will be ditching all AC system and tucking and just cleaning engine bay next. Much easier on non turbo cars Just waiting now for body panels to put it all back together And my two on the cold morning

Thanks man! Should look even better all done. Found a guy making short centercaps replicas for Epsilons. Ordered those. Also I might be trading my 5.5" barrels for 7" ones
