hey guys - i'm going to be swamped during the weekdays but i'll be compiling everything for Apeks command over the weekend - that means that i need info from EVERYONE involved over the weekend so that i have at least the bulk of the info ready for monday send me everything you have - if someone doesn't mind getting ahold of everyone involved via Pm's , phone calls , emails or whatever - that would be awesome i dont have the time to track down all the parties so they need to get ahold of me with the info via the email i posted above thanks

SHUT UP - ur not being helpful and have obviously NOT read these threads he's in the country and has NOT notified his command that he has any issues , he will be having a meeting with his command this weekend

we should know on monday his side of the story - or at least what he tells his command keep the emails and pm's coming

FOR ALL THOSE THAT SENT HIM PARTS i realized that it is entirely possible that he no longer has your parts - refunding money is cut and dry but if he doesn't have your parts to send back then we have an issue So: include in your email to me what you approximate the value of your parts to be - in other words, how much $$$ you want if the parts cannot be returned

yeah no prob - pm me ur email in our current pm conversation and i'll kick you the emails that are needed i think first thing i'll go through them all once i have them and i'll make a detailed summary - that way we're not overflowing them with info for the time being - then we'll just supply the rest as requested/required that should keep you from getting too swamped with this during bncoc just so everyone knows - if his command is quality they will require him to show them proof that he's repaid each and every person who has an issue

we have confirmed that he isn't deployed - and the odds of something serious happening in his life and him not notifying his command is slim - and he hasnt

absolutely - i'm only really saying that it would be better to have a "VS representative" speak for its members and if Chuck or the Mods or whomever needs it i'll communicate with his unit if/when GiRaff3 goes to bncoc

oh ... well, if you give them a heads up and be sure to let them know you're calling on behalf of volvospeed and its members then maybe Chuck can takeover from there - only so that we can use the name to try and get a good response so that we dont have individuals calling them every 5 minutes , which wont go over well - if Chuck needs backup or is unavailable i'll take over for ya - just forewarn me

they'll still likely want the info for all parties involved - and everyone should go to paypal and print off a copy of their transactions with him just curious , is he junior enlisted ? maybe you should pm me the answer to that question - or i'll just look him up what jag office do reservists use ? is it just whatever post is closest or do they have their own rep ? glad to see another Army VSer btw ;)

are you in the military ? i was thinking that coming from a soldier his commander or 1st sergeant might be more receptive (no offense) if you want to contact his command make sure you have the full names and contact info of all those "wronged" ready to send to them - and be sure to sound official - "I'm calling on behalf of VolvoSpeed" or whatever let me know if you need anything from me or want me to call too - this whole situation bugs me alot

2 or 3 months on average in my experience - though its possible to pcs to back fill a different unit and then be rushed into a deployment that's just about to ship off - unlikely tho - especially as a reservist the point being that there's time and ability to contact people - especially when we know he's logging into other sites

if he was going to be deploying from a reserve unit then he would be active duty for months prior - there's TONS of classes and prep beforehand

i JUST read all the info and threads about this front to back Mods: do you guys want me to contact him through AKO (Army knowledge online)? all Army personnel have an account - and its supposed to have current : Unit , Status (includes if he's deployed) , Contact info (number and alternate emails) , ect at the very least those who feel they have been wronged can be sent the contact info for his commanding officer and 1st sergeant however - none of that info will be public knowledge - all i'm willing to do is email him on AKO and offer his commands contact info to those wronged

hey guys i just wanted to say that i've only ever seen someone get orders so fast they didnt have time to do anything ONCE - 4 years in the Army and i have never received a set of orders with less then 30 days notice (the norm) and have only seen a "sub 2 week" notice that one time just out of curiosity i asked my brother how it is in the reserves and he said they normally get more notice then us active duty guys :-/ to top it off , the odds of him shipping to germany for such a short period of time (not to mention on short notice) isn't even believable - there's nothing there that warrants tdy i could understand if he shipped here to fort huachuca for a couple weeks to do a class or something - or even for a few months - but even those wouldnt happen on such short notice just my Army perspective guys , take it as you will

thats just what his mom calls him we sometimes refer to his as "Jason" , just to make things easier
