  1. That sounds like a personal problem. If the buyer is requesting that, tell him to sell the wheels and get new ones. I can't believe you're having such a hard time selling that.
  2. Thanks Alain. Of course my dice reader is dead now that I need it again. Stupid.
  3. Rookie TPMS question. If I have a set of wheels with TPMS that I take off for the winter, will the car recognize them again when I put them back on later? Or, if I, hypothetically, get a set of wheels with new TPMS sensors, have the car learn them and take the wheels off and put them back on later, will that cause any issues?

Good point. :( Anyways, here's a pic of my non - OEM wood trim from my 850 diplomatic import:

that trim looks pretty identical to what I had in my 94 850 and I can guarantee that wasn't some stick on shit, it was an actual wood veneer.
  6. What heads will work on a 2012 C30? Will one from an S40 work on it?
  7. The title of the thread should be changed to "from the beginning to the end".
  8. Fabric stores will carry a headliner material and a 3M spray adhesive works well. That's what I used. Biggest PITA is cleaning all the crap off of the panel before putting on the new material.
  9. Update: The gray 4 prong male plug in the box that the seat position buttons connects to requires a power and ground as well. Did that and the seat moved. Only problem is the seat motors hit the floor and doesn't allow for much movement, so it's coming out anyways.
  10. I can't believe I'm saying this, but, thank you. So it looks like the driver seat receives power at two of the plugs rather than just one like on the passenger seat. I need to look at the one in the S70 when I get home.
  11. I don't, but that would help. I also forgot I own an S70 with power driver seat and can pull the other plugs to see if there is an additional power source.
  12. Has anyone successfully wired in a power driver seat into an x70 that did not have a power driver seat? I gave the power harness the constant 12v and ground like I've done for passenger seats, but that didn't work. I think the memory seat adds a different element to it.
  13. those swedespeed guys with the exclusive polestar models are going to lose their shit.
  14. I quite skating because I was never going to make any money off of it. fun < breaking a bone a risking a job, insurance, etc.
  15. On the topic of mpg. Katherine and I are in Nashville for the long weekend and we took her C30. On a full tank of highway miles it managed about 27.5 mpg. I was pretty disappointed with that. I was expecting 30 or more.
  16. I read several long discussions about it. It's for the VVT hub and it sounds like these engines are notorious for running hot and prone to sludge and causes the VVT hub to get poor oil pressure and triggering the cel. I'm looking at one with 64k miles tomorrow. 2003, silver on tan, comes with factory bbs wheels and another set of oem wheels with winter tires. Rebuilt title for an accident damaging the trunk, but repaired by a guy who buys volvos from insurance companies and fixes them.
  17. I only mentioned 5cyl because there was one I was considering, but I've found a couple V40s that look good. One has the p0015 code that from what I read, they all get and can be a bitch to figure out.
  18. Really? That's promising. My preference if in were to stay in a volvo for a commuter would be one of the 1st Gen x40s.
  19. That's depressing. Looks like the 1st Gen x40 can get around 30 on the highway. Katherine wants me to stay in a volvo for safety, trying to avoid a late 90s toyota or saturn.
  20. I know the words good gas mileage and volvo and rarely used in the same sentence, but since I never really owned a stock 850 or x70 that had a complete stage 0, anyone getting close to at least 30 mpg on pure highway with one?

No, if you have manual seats now you'll have to run power to the seats. Sometimes they are prewired, sometimes they are not. I've had one of each.
  22. Same here except mine comes and goes. It will be fine for a day and then all of a sudden out of nowhere the thing is incredibly laggy, gets super hot and I can watch the battery life go down. Happened today in the garage; I couldn't do anything on the phone, it got hot, and the battery went from 70% down to 40% in a few minutes. Restarted it and all of a sudden the battery was where it should be and it was operating smoothly. It's always fine once I restart it, but It's definitely not right though.
  23. I would have gone down there and drawn the states for reference.
