  1. Does anybody know off the top of their head what size the mid-pipe section of the OBX is? And if anyone can recommend a good cat that substantially quieted down their OBX or any exhaust for that matter? I'm trying to make the exhaust quieter and so it will pass emissions. I know all the options of the mangaflow race cats and whatnot, but I'm not looking exactly for a race cat, I want it quieter.
  2. I don't understand how the car would be totaled. It looks like a bumper and hood. Is there more that you weren't showing us???? I feel like it's being blown completely out of proportion.
  3. I'm not mad at you, I'm just disappointed.
  4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=57dzaMaouXA If someone uses hashtags after something, I always automatically like them a little less and less
  5. Again, same boat. I loved those cars, but I was tired of dealing with the everything modified aspect of the 850, and I made a lot on the S70, so it was all worth it. I need to do the T5 upgrade to my GLT to be completely happy with it like I planned to. But I don't really want to spend any money on it. I need to get my 16T balanced.
  6. Last night I was thinking how I really miss my 850 and NA S70 and wish I still had both. But I also remember why I sold one and parted the other at the time.
  7. A hood and bumper takes maybe a couple hours start to finish to do. If it takes you longer than that and you miss work because of if, then....don't. What else does it need?
  8. Made an extension for the O2 sensor anyway and so far no CEL. Didn't want to look at the CEL for the sensor. Still have a CEL for misfire on #2.
  9. Will keeping the rear o2 unplugged cause any drivability issues?
  10. probably nsfw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXo3WckpasU
  11. That's about a 20-30 minute drive. Still a lot further than whole foods. And look where it is. No thanks. Its next to west allis, you do not enter west allis unless you absolutely have to.
  12. By selection they have the best selection of local beer. Being in Milwaukee that selection is very large. If I wanted the largest selection of miller, bud, and Sam Adams, yeah, I would go to a larger grocery store. Also, whole foods and out post are both about 10 mins away. Woodman's is about 30-40 minutes out, and to find a large liquor store I would need to go even further since I live in the Third Ward and there are no liquor stores near me.
  13. Normal grocery shopping is at pick n save. Beer shopping is always done at whole foods. Their selection puts pick n save to shame. Unless its Woodman's, their selection is by far the best.
  14. every single time I go to Whole Foods or Outpost And then I realize I'm poor.
  15. The defroster uses the AC system. So if your AC doesn't work, your defroster doesn't work.
  16. That looks hilarious. Good see Knoxville still going at it.
  17. Does anyone actually use the "sport" mode on their autos?
  18. I agree. I was just asking if that was an option. Spending almost $2k on just moving your stuff seems like a lot when you could sell your stuff, save the money, and use it to furnish your new place. Especially if his company doesn't cover moving expenses. I know my brother will be moving all of his stuff from his old apartment in Minneapolis to Chicago, but his company will cover any expenses.
  19. Move from border to border? The idea of a new job, a new place to live, a new environment, and new things sounds awesome. If I was in the position that he's in, fuck yeah I would ditch all of my things and start fresh. Bring items that can easily fit in my car and hold a sentimental value. The rest is expendable, IMO.
  20. Why not sell most of what you have and pack the essentials into your car and then buy new stuff when you get there?
  21. Working on the loading dock today at school. Needless to say it's kinda warm out. But nonetheless, watched someone stop in mid-stride, slowly keel over, and then completely fall over landing on one of our large wooden flat-bed carts with their face momentarily passing out. Decent amount of blood from nose and mouth. It was pretty scary thing to see. Ambulance came and took him to the hospital.
  22. Haha. Let me know when. August is shaping up to be a busy month.
  23. I've done two of them. They're not bad at all. If you're determined, you could easily do it in a day. Taking the dash itself out is really easy. Then to remove the climate box it's just four bolts on top, spring clips on the evaporator, heater core lines, and removing the blower/resistor/etc. Not bad at all. Don't think of it as a hassle, it's not. But it's 10 times easier having two people when it comes to removing the dash and climate box.
