I don't have a link to some news article, but you can trust me on this one, Saddam is not in power right now and I don't see a very good political future for him either.

Whats amazing is the President said there would be no draft, the second in charge said there would be no draft but you believe John Kerrys scare tactics. (remember it was the Democrats that put the bill before Congress (Kerry is a Democrat)) Good news for you the president isn't incharge of the draft, just like he isn't incharge of abortion. Congress has to cause the draft, so get mad at your rep, not the President. Don't believe the Ex-Generals that say what Kerry want to here, remember they are EX, and they are the ones that said it would be an nasty compain to take the country and it would take many more troops etc. They were wrong then and now. Plus the ones incharge now don't want more troops, if they did they would ask for them. Above is also part of your problem, you want it to be a lie, well lets make it a lie, but remember John Kerry believed the same intelligence reports that the President believed. Because someone makes a decision based on information that later might turn out to be incorrect doesn't make it a lie at the time the decision was made. If there were no WMDs then why the latest blast of BS from Kerry about Bush not gaurding them? Only problem with this deception is that those 390tons of stuff were suppose to be gaurded by the UN troops that were there before we invaded. Once we arrive the stuff had already been moved. (One more reason to leave the UN out of this, they can't even handle simple gaurd duty) :P

I know what your saying, just having fun. The bad guys on the plane don't want a gun, they want the plane (missle). The problem isn't going through grandma's suit case, or all those nail cliper, or pocket knives, it's the terrorists and their want for a missle. Protect the missle and keep the terrorist off and things would be pretty much taken care of. Ya I have a good idea what terrorist look like, (at least the last 19 that died in service) I just don't know if they are one.

Can't use other countries, they don't have the second amendment, they have a different culture. For instance, thieves in Italy have a code of honor, if you catch them they run, they don't put a gun to your head and continue with what they were doing. Not so in the USA. Another case and point saying bad guys can't have guns means nothing at all. D.C. has a gun ban, and it doesn't work. All the good guys can't have them because of D.C. law but the bad guys don't care about the law and guess what, lots of crime. But let a bad guy know the person on the other side of the door or sitting in their car could have a gun and the playing field is changed and often moved.

Depending on the state you are in, you never know who's carring and neither do the bad guys. Just the way it's suppose to be. :D

Actually I thought it was rather funny, thats the main reason I shared it, then someone asked if it was true so that go me thinking, so I did some checking and posted the corrections. Enjoy the political humor, both sides do it. The link is nice it actually corrects the hole thing about the U.S. not making flu shots. I really don't care what Mr. Edwards did before he became a Senator, He doesn't make a big deal about his life 30 years ago like Kerry does, If he did I'd research it to find the fibs as well. No problem with your concerns, I'll do a little more thinking before posting next time.

I think if I have a right to carry a consealed weapon I should be able to do it anywhere, even on airplanes, on the toilet, etc. etc. etc. Ya like thats going to happen. :P

Regarding the claim that John Edwards secured a $5 million judgment against a U.S. pharmacutical company on a flu vaccine case, while it is true he had a highly successful legal career representing individuals who had been badly harmed by malfunctioning products or the mistakes of doctors and hospitals, with some even saying he won $175 million for his clients over 12 years, at this point it's not known if he ever litigated a flu vaccine case, or if so, what the outcome of such a trial was. I agree fact check is done with people never leaving there office, but they do point out in a more even keel type fashion than most sources, and they list their sources, there may be others but they didn't find them or choose to include them. I did some limited searching with the abilities I have (very limited) to find out if the post had any truth to it and I couldn't find any.

I don't know if you are refering to the first post or the post about new ways of making the flue shot. Either way neither one of us work for Factcheck.org so I'm just passing on e-mail stuff I've been sent. In the case of the new flue method it is more than likely really true. :P

The army thats fighting right now isn't like the the red coats where they line up and then the blue coats line up and bang, you are right. The injurys and deaths thus far have been cause by something very real, if you don't want to call it a real army that ok with me, but it's certianly real. The fight thats going on right now is the hard part, cause all the rule books don't apply, every thing thats know about armys don't apply. The fight thats going on right now is to me the real reason to be there. Saddams armys, the ones with the uniforms, the ones that march in ranks etc. were never going to march in any city in the USA, but whats being fought right now is the real fight that has and will be brought to our cities. My hope is that all the good thats being done over there to get the people back on their feet and begin living a life with freedom and lack of surpression will take hold. Well he was in the military at the time, and there are certian things you can and can't do when you are a Commissioned Officer in the Service, it's really as simple as that. It doesn't take balls, it takes a total disrespect for the uniform he was wearing, a total lack of understanding of what his actions would cause. He was there, how long? Doing what with video cameras, taking time to fill out all those awards, writing diaries, standing in line at the hospital so his medical records would support his bo boos that a band aid would fix. All but three of the people that served with him paint an entire different picture of John Kerry. The 60 plus Vets that have spoken out against what would have never been brought up if it wasn't for Kerry himself hold no water, but what the man himself says does? Because Factcheck.org doesn't print it it's not so? Where is John Kerrys discharge, not the one he got after President Carter made the Navy do a review of his record, the discharge he got when he first got out after completing his military service July 1, 1972. John Kerry is the one who has brought up his Military, over and over again, I guess he figured that all would just believe it cause he said it. Too many people that served with him have an entirely different story, who do I believe, one man or the countless others that were there?

No one said He supported it, in fact he doesn't, He won't spend Federal dollars on it, but it's not against the law. Much like he won't spend Federal dollars on abortion but it's not against the law and it's out there making money in the private sector.

And some thought the movie was ment to be sarcastic, but if you ever listen to one of the many speaches he is giving at the Universities across America, you realize that he actually believes his own press. Truely a wacko, things like that movie make you wonder if free speach is really a good thing.

Not true, you can do all the research you want to, there is no law against it, the point with the debates is that the Government is ONLY paying for stem cell research. If you want to do embro research, get all the people that are for it and have deep pockets and have them start digging. All the rich that are complaining about the tax cut being for only them, let them fund it, they seem to have so much extra money.

I agree, but not because Sue, Linda, Lexus, Maria, etc, have some right to decide something, it's all about money now. $$$$$$ ;)
