The VVT blanking plate is fairly easy to make out of 3" x 1/4" aluminum plate - I used an old jig saw to cut mine out (killed 4 blades doing it, though)

Wouldn't it be possible, and easier/cheaper, to use hard plastic instead?

today at around 2:15, i was on greenfield rd getting onto the 30 expressway in lancaster, and i spot a saffron c70 with what looked like a black IPD mesh grille. looked really good. i waved, he waved back, looked like an older guy, maybe 40's?

there are a LOT of saffron c70's around here. i am really surprised. i've seen at least 3 different ones, not including this one right in lancaster.

Some of us take offense to "older guy" being in his "40's."

Superclean White S70 T-5 with an R-bumper in Stop & Shop parking lot in Clifton NJ. The driver walked over while I was checking it out, gave me a suspicious look until I pointed to my 855 and told him I liked his ride. He got a big smile on his face when he realized I wasn't scoping it out to steal it. I asked him if he would sell it, he just laughed and said, "No way."
