  1. Finally got a hold of a RN hard water pipe. Thanks Matt. I decided to use the RN pipe but after I had put everything together I noticed that the expansion tank line interferes with the fuel lines. Apart it came. You can see the upper RN pipe is shifted over just enough to be in the way. Cut the down water pipe spout off and moved it to the N pipe. Thought mig welding might end up rusting so I brazed it. and all done. I got so close to dropping it in this afternoon but was held up by the passenger side engine mount, I had ordered the wrong one.
  2. Rancho Cordova, Ca - Pick&Pull - 3 manuals on the lot. 2-98's and one 01.
  3. Someone needs to post pictures of these two TCV's and highlight the connections.
  4. Got the head, exhaust and turbo on today. Also installed some jewels.
  5. I have two other parts trans. They come in handy.
  6. I didnt see anything else and I looked. Seems odd that they would put a sticker on it and call it done. No matter, just wondered.
  7. Something very interesting I noticed on the 1/2 gear cluster. There were stampings on one of the gears. The trans I have has a 3.77 final drive. I wonder if these numbers identify that???
  8. Took apart the trans today. Replaced a syncro, seals and one bearing.
  9. Yes, thats the plan. I was laying on the ground looking under there last night contemplating how to do it. Looks like everything would have to come from the drivers side. I can Y the pipe and make that happen. In my happy world I was hoping to run the electric cutout to the second tip but I dont think thats going to be possible.
  10. There are plastic plates that mount to the sides of the car under the cover. The bumper skin slides onto them. They bolt right into the factory hole. The rest of the bumper bolts right up. Fairly easy swap.
  11. Had some time tonight so I decided to throw the XC bumper on the car. Its been sitting in the garage all painted and ready to go.
  12. If you can wait till mine is done then watch it get rebuilt at a turtle pace.
  13. Slow process but I got the pistons all in. Waiting on a RN pan from JoshV70. Stripped one of the 4 bolts that hold the oil pump in so I am going to pull that and heli-coil it. 88in/lbs isnt very much. I have it in there with some bite but I dont feel comfortable knowing the engine heat cycles will eventually let it go.
  14. Thanks, been paying very close attention to those instructions.
  15. It better when you pay almost $100 for shipping.
  16. New parts arrived today. Going to have to redo the IC plumbing since the FMIC will be coming out.
  17. There are specific measurements that the ring gaps go by. Its the bore size x <application chart>. Each ring is measured and ground for the cylinder its assigned to. The chart below is from Wiseco. I paid to have mine done but after getting them home and double checking the gaps, cylinders 1 and 3 had to be touched one more time.
  18. Not a lot of time this evening but I was able to load two pistons. >Sputters.
  19. Didnt get very much done today. Only loaded the pistons onto the rods and double checked the ring end gaps.
  20. Thats the one. I think I got the link from your thread. The site has 20% off right now.
