To add to the washer grinding, we ended up grinding all the way around the washer and took appx .050 off the sides, for a diameter reduction of .100 of an inch in the event that the washer turned upon re-assembly. It seems that the top pigtail on some of the IPD springs is wound a bit too tight, causing it to shift in the spring seat and rub the bumpstop washer. I recommend anyone installing aftermarket springs to check for this.

  2. Also......re-sealed angle gear, re-greased drivers axle cv joint, new brakes, rotors,hoses, parking brake cables and shoes, miscelaenous interior trim pieces, replaced cut right rear seat belt, fixed non working fuel door release, replaced all rubber coolant hoses.......

    Funny, when the flatbed driver dropped it in our driveway, he said " what the heck are you going to do with this thing ? " and shook his head.

    That engine photo above on the hoist is actually the old one when we pulled it out. Here is the new one about to go in.

  3. Burn-E had posted a link a couple of years ago to a PDF of a Volvo OEM Wheel poster. It shows 72 wheels from appx 1992 to appx 2004 and their names. I have access to the actual printed version of it, and on the back of it is a list of all the wheels, their sizes, and part #. If it helps, I'll scan the list and post it. I think the thread that Burn-E posted the link in is something like "Volvo OEM Wheel Poster"
