  1. I don't know how anyone, even a Christian, can say that homosexuality is wrong or sinful. Guess what? brokeback people don't choose to be brokeback. Its just the way they are (the way God made them).

Ask Grant when he decided that he wanted to prefer men to women. Not when he realized it, when he chose it.

Better yet, ask yourself when you decided to be straight...Oh yeah, you didn't. Its just the way you are.

  2. True it does look badass on CJ's wagon but I don't know how the smaller spokes on the volans will look.

Screw it, only one way to find out.

I could always go ricer and do 'em white :D

I would honestly consider white if you had a white car.

However, black would be pretty badass. Anthricite is always baller.

  3. Kids, kids, kids... If/when I do a lip on this, it won't be anything crazy, it will be just like the one on gattigang's car (formerly on Will's car), and not stick out that far, 1-2" at the very most...

Please figure out a way to do it without those metal brackets in the front...I think they kill the look. Unless you want the M4d d0wNfoRcE.

  4. I find it interesting that Republicans are anti abortion because it is "killing people", yet they are all for capital punishment.

Its probably because they feel that killing a murderer/criminal is slightly more justifiable than killing an innocent fetus.

Keep in mind that this statement isn't fully supported by me, just shedding some light on the subject I guess.

  5. As entertaining as this has been watching the Asinine(Canada) vs. U.S.A. battle, I grow weary of this penis-length comparison.

You all have fairly valid points but the truth is that America and Canada are both great places to live. Sure they have their problems, but who doesn't? We should be glad we live in such great countries considering life is a hell of a lot worse elsewhere in the world.

Did anyone read the post that Chuck made recently about the kids getting kidnaped in Uganda, or the post Gregg made about the girls in Iran? Do it if you already haven't. Its just a little slice of what the world is like.

And as for the war, I'm not justifying it, but the threat of WMDs were apparent at the time. Saddam's weapons from the 90's are probably still out there somewhere. Maybe not in Iraq, but somewhere. Keep in mind, before we invaded Iraq, it wasn't like all the Iraqi people were riding a giant ferris wheel while Saddam was making ballon animals for children...

  6. Most likely though, the guys who did that will be killed in far worse ways than hanging.

It's a totally different world over there, but not completely without its justice. (Not that I'd ever live there or want those I know to live there!-- except maybe a few  )

I guess a situation in which a girl was assaulted, nearly raped, and accidentally killed her assailant in self defense, and then gets sentenced to death is a kind of justice...

And I thought the U.S. legal system was f-ed up.

  7. What about those people that saw jesus's face in a towel of sweat? or was that just some moive, i cant remeber......  :sheep:

I think you're refering to the Shroud of Turin, which was supposedly the cloth that Jesus's face was cleaned with after he died on the cross. However, as I remember, scientific data proved that it was a hoax.

  8. Broken link dude.

I suppose that it is some anti-happy marriage article or something Bush said about happy marriage....

I agree with you Grant. This shouldn't be a big deal at all, let alone a political issue. It wouldn't really affect anybody negatively. It would positively affect a small handful of people. Its those Darn religious right folks who think that "the institution" of marraige would be destroyed if you let happy people get married to each other.

Grant, correct me if I am wrong....you didn't chose to be homosexual, did you? I'm sorry if I have offended you by making you the example, but I'm just trying to strengthen my point. My question is this: How can you deny people rights and privelages in this day and age just because they are different. Gays don't have any more choice of their sexual orientation than a black man does his race. Its just stupid...

    Sorry about the rant.

  9. Conservation of ammo.  Engage all targets and then come back and shoot them in the head if you have ammo left.  If you carry a caliber thats correct for the job neither double tap or tripple tap is usually needed.  I doubt many civilians will ever encounter a true multi-target enviroment though.

In the situation you described can you expect an Islamic terrorist to go down with only one bullet in him? Come on, these guys have God on their sidel, they're gonna be pretty resilient... ;)

  10.

I think all religions have parts of it right, but none have nailed it. So I try to live in a way to helps everyone I can and does not hurt anyone. I guess for me it is faith not religion. Live and let live. Maybe I am Peter, but I am not Judas ;)

Perhaps you should try Bahai, (Spelling), they believe that everyone had something to bring to the table: Abraham, Moses, Buddha, Zoroaster, Christ and Muhammad...

  11. I think you have morality and criminal mixed up.

    mo·ral·i·ty ( P ) Pronunciation Key (m-rl-t, mô-)

    n. pl. mo·ral·i·ties

The quality of being in accord with standards of right or good conduct.

A system of ideas of right and wrong conduct: religious morality; Christian morality.

    Virtuous conduct.

A rule or lesson in moral conduct.

    http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=morality

    crim·i·nal ( P ) Pronunciation Key (krm-nl)

    adj.

Of, involving, or having the nature of crime: criminal abuse.

Relating to the administration of penal law.

    Guilty of crime.

    Characteristic of a criminal.

Shameful; disgraceful: a criminal waste of talent.

    n.

One that has committed or been legally convicted of a crime.

I would also define criminal is performing an act that either directly or indirectly affects another person.

According to our laws you can commit a crime against yourself. Example: it is illegal to smoke Marajuana. If you are alone in your house when you are smoking are you causing a problem to anyone else? I think not. I am sure you will bring up all of the problems that smoking Pot can cause to your friends relatives etc. The same can be said of alchohol and that is legal.

Killing or robbing somebody has nothing to do with morality because morality is very subjective. I don't know anybody that thinks that killing another person for no reason is ok.

I do know plenty of people that think smoking pot or prostetution is ok. I am not saying they do them but they see no problem with others doing if they so feel.

A government regulated by morality is a government that is run by religion. That is a very bad thing.

Alright dude, marihuana laws aren't an issue of morality at all. The reason pot is illegal and alcohol is a controlled substance is that it is imposible to use pot responsibly. I can take a shot and be perfectly coherent/rational but take one draw on a joint and be completely out of my mind. (On a side note: I haven't smoked pole.)

And believe it or not, this country was based on Christian ideals, which you can't really say are bad ones. Some people take them too far in my opinion and thats the way you feel the way you do.
