Best lightning shot Ive gotten.

Yeah, I spent like 45 minutes standing out after a storm passed and it stopped raining. 6-8 second exposures for 45 minutes straight, filled an 8gb memory card and got 1 good picture. haha

The crazy thing i like about your though, is that it looks like you captured it right as the lightning struck. Because the waves in the water, and the trees arent blurry from movement during your exposure time.

thats what i did, except it was during the storm and i was about to just say screw it cuase the lightning was getting super close. i found it though:
