  1. So all of a sudden FSD's can be intergraded with lowering springs
  2. What's half an inch more... especially to protect that front bumper
  3. Wow the car looks awsome Carson. The black grill looks fine to me I wouldn't bother changing it. I personally think some sort of carbon fiber lip would tie in great... but looks great already!

  10. But will war bring peace? Some believe war is terrorism itself. "We/they should not become a monster in order to defeat a monster." Yes I am aware of this... I misundertood what PyROTech was getting at.
  11. Are you saying that "they" hate canada because we didn't get involved ???
  12. Yes I realised I met rational people abroad, this comment was not an attempt to answer your question. It was to justify a little why some Canadians seem to feel "untouchable". You mention that "we are all infidels - like it or not." Do you mean we are disbelievers? Don't get me wrong I agree with many of your thoughts. I'm just trying to get a vague notion about my fellow Americans. I'm trying to understand why you seem so eager to now include Canada into the "American world". Is it just because geographically we are situated in the west, well, we've always been there. I almost sense animosity that for so many years many had this belief that Canadians were loved by everyone and finally after so many years an incident occurs, and incident that is somewhat linked to America, so are we now accepted? These are just thoughts, questions surfurcing in the moment... I know very little about politics if it doesn't already show...
  13. I honestly don't know if "those fellas would've treated Montreal and its citizens differently than parliament". Violence is much higher and rising in Toronto compared to Montreal, why is that? I have been to many places around the world and people treat you differently when they notice the canadian flag on your back pack...
  14. Well I can see that we were an attractive target, but not more so than the US, sorry. But I'm from Montreal, a city way different then any other in Canada.
  15. B)--> QUOTE(Plan B @ Jun 7 2006, 12:20 PM) ←Cute but dumb, read the post. Complitments are not harassment. Dude I was just suprised that my pic was on a thread that was titled "...Terrorism". It was unexpected, that's all I was trying to get at, sorry if I was unclear. No need to get nasty. Oh and a compliment can be taken as a verbal intimidation which is a form a harassment. However I did not take it like that, I was just joking.
  16. Me too man, I got it on DVD, the touring and GT class. I was loving it, I always watch the the races but this one was just so much more excitting, way to go guys, great job! Can't wait to see next race. Hopefully the S40 will also be there in the touring class.
  17. What is my picture doing in a terrorism thread??? I'm being harassed...lol
  18. I don't know why I find my self reading in the political forum. My backround in politics is very poor but for some reason I get an urge to post something. Some posts tend to be "politically correct", proving there point or bringing down someones in a civilised manner. However there are some post that show hatred and anger, throwing arrogant statements and insults to other nations/individuals. I don't believe this will solve anything or help eachother to share some mutial thoughts. I don't believe that everyone will be on the same page at the same time however we should trade thoughts with respect. "WE/THEY SHOULD NOT BECOME A MONSTER, IN ORDER TO DEFEAT A MOSTER". That said we should take a look at why and how Africa is in the state that they are in: "One in two Africans is under age 20, but their futures are under threat. Africa is struggling under a triple crisis that keeps its people poor and its nations weak -- the burden of unpayable DEBT that soaks up money that should go to health and education; the epidemic of AIDS that is taking the lives of an entire generation; and the unfair TRADE policies that keep Africans from being able to sell their products at world prices and earn their own way out of poverty." Check out the DATA website, if your interested. Also this little video is a little eye opener, it's pretty cool take a look.
  19. I just feel that you are pointing the finger on the wrong person but right party, right party of the past due to Jean Chrétien... but each to there own. Yes, I agree that Quebec is very different to the rest of Canada and more so then other provinces. However as good as "there" lives are on the "other side of the river" we have them to thank for our lives as well. Quebec is still part of Canada and we/they depend on Canada. I love Montreal it is my home and will always be my home. I have visited many other countries and have lived abroad for several years and Montreal still appeals to me. From what I’ve experienced as Canadians we are very open minded and accepting whether it to be to cultures, customs, art, music, race, color, ideas...etcetera. That is what makes Montreal, all the different nationalities mixed up in a pot of stew, a metropolitan city in North America with a European flair. You say Quebec has changed, it has changed, and it has grown just like any other province/state/country in the world that is excelling into the future not falling behind. My father is Greek and has lived in Montreal for over 40 years and has not lost his customs, roots or rights, yet he has only added more color to his culture due to this city. When he visited home after a 5 year period; cars replaced donkeys, running water, hot water, tourists, menus and signs in English/Italian/French… But his family was still his family with the same believes. I don’t think by separating will do Quebec any good, the leaders would sell us out to the Americans. Quebec has the 3rd highest provincial debt in Canada (per capita) so if we go independent we would hot be able to use money from Alberta or Ontario to pay it off. We would have to get loans from other countries such as the US or maybe Canada would give us one, all with very high interest rates. A new and weak currency would have to be implemented causing a population drop, companies fleeing, scared of loosing the Canadian dollar. And after all that shock I highly doubt that the leaders would have time to start saving the Quebecan culture.
  20. "The Liberals took big losses in the House of Commons in June 2004 amid what was known as the sponsorship scandal, in which government money was paid to advertising firms to shore up support for Canadian unity in French-speaking Quebec. Investigators determined most of the money went to firms with Liberal connections, with little or no work done in exchange, but placed most of the blame on former Prime Minister Jean Chretien. Martin was cleared of wrongdoing and issued a dramatic apology on behalf of his government in April. The Liberals agreed to pay $1.1 million back to the government after an initial report was issued November 1."
  21. What exactly did Paul Martin "steal"? Don't you think the rest of Canada helps us live a better life too? And "Canada's capital region" to you is where exactly?
  22. Yes I was refering to land size, Canada is rich in raw materials which makes us important in the world. Even with a population of "less than that of california", we are ranked in the top 10 richest countries in the world. So I quote Dr. 850R, "we're all about quality, not quantity", (I liked that one...lol) :D
  23. No we don't... were just the second largest country in the world, we scratch our arses all day :P
  24. If "US leaders and some others" went to war in Iraq for the "freedom of the people" or to "fight terrorism" why is it that US soldiers are garding all the oil wells? I don't know much about politics...but slowly slowy trying to learn ALL SIDES. I just don't understand why some Americans should feel safer with Saddam out of power. And don't understand the correlation between going to war to fight terrorism and the Iraqi war. Frankly speaking I'm guessing it was an excuse to control the oil and money seems to be more important then fighting terrorism since capturing Bin Ladden doesn't seem priority anymore. And since this whole war was based on "fighting terrorism", North Korea should have something to do with all this since they have many nuclear weapons and such...
