Thanks guys. The car is a 98 and the hoses are 8 years old. I agree with the preventive stuff. I put on over 20k a year and like to catch things before they happen. I travel about 40 mins to work and don't need anything happening that far away. The parts seem to be the cheapest on FCP. Some of their Ebay auctions with the shipping are cheaper than the parts on their site

I will be doing a 100000mi service on my 98 V70 and was wondering if anyone has replaced the heater core hoses at that point. I am doing the other hoses because they are original and will be doing a pvc kit and other things. So while I am there I thought I might replace the core hoses. Are they as easy as it looks?
