  1. Not that I encourage street racing but... I have beaten a modded lightning, a stock lightning, 2 WRX Sti's(one from 0-75ish), and most recently a 98-01 or so viper all on the highway...and numerous other cars I cant remember...the only time I have lost is on a dragstrip. Thanks and yes it is a 6 speed manual.
  2. that one is one the garage wall now... Thanks...I didnt take any of the pics so eh The old supertrap tuneable mufflers made it sound like a circle track race car...fun some times, but way too loud most times and they were rusty looked like jerk, plus it wouldnt work with my SE rear bumper so...it had to go in the trash! I love the exhaust note now with the magnaflow XL, and at idle and cruise it is not annoying anymore. From some angles I think the tips dont look great but I still like them a lot.
  3. [quote name='rodrigo' date='Oct 3 2006, 11:21 PM' post='772563' nice work, man! True european look....the perfect balance between different and conservative. The fact that you can pull on just about anthing makes it even better. PS: leave grille black! Thanks, and the grille is staying black for now.
  4. I have a couple more on pbase http://www.pbase.com/mjtoll23/gs_vette_wagon It will be for a while i am going to try the surround and if I dont like it it will stay black, I have another grille to play with. Thanks! My car is not even the nicest 740 wagon on turbobricks...but thanks! 7/9 series are the best! The older dual square headlights are ugly though, thats why I converted to a 940 front so I could run the Euro Headlights.
  5. Thanks it is my freinds 88 e30, rebuilt 2.5 with tubular header, t3/t4, huge front mount, 5 lug swap etc...its a mid 13 sec car @7psi of boost
  6. You guys are quick...thanks for the compliments! I sold my yellowbrick and my 850 turbo because this car is so much more fun. She scoots along nicely, I trapped 112mph @ the 1/4mile, but only a 13.2...after the rearend swap it should be good for low 12's. Later, Jon
  7. Here is the almost finished product: Thanks to Mike/Ronnie/John for all their hard work... original pictures/infomation thread/some details about the car with before pictures-http://www.turbobricks.com/forums/showthre...p;highlight=lt4 One before picture: I was amazed at how nice the paint came out considering my car was driven a lot(230k miles on body) and never gargaged...needless to say she stays in the garage now! If you are in SE Va and need paint work done I have a guy for you...reasonable in price and he does very good work. The paint used was GM Admiral Blue from the 96 Grand Sport Corvette. I had all the chrome trim blacked out, and the rear wiper cover, mirrors and door and sunroof trim painted body color as well. Thee door handles are from a 95+ 960 as is the rear hatch. The tails are 960 as well. The sidemarker lights are from an s80. The front lights are glass euro 940. Aero kit is from a 740SE. I also added a MOMO steering wheel, which I like a lot. Window tint is 50% front 2 windows, 20% for the rest of the car. Next comes interior/stereo work and then a rear end. 7:00am the day of the meet- That is me on crutches, 14 stitches on my right foot from stepping on glass, cut my foot to the bone...nothing a little Vicadin wont fix:)
