  1. He's universally voted for by liberal and conservative Arizonans. He's actually taking heat right now for his views on illegal immigrants, because he feels they should sit in jail rather than be deported. I'm just a fan of any politician that's a straight shooter and doens't monkey around.

  2. Rednecks and cheating in the same sentence? OMFG What has America come to?

They need to go all-out either way: ban them from several races like Chuck or Greg suggested, or just say "monkey rules" and let them do whatever they want:

either way down with limits let them go 300mph around the track just build larger walls to keep them from killing as many people when they crash
  3. And the quality of workmanship.

I used forged sleeves. As for Atspeed I cannot say. If I had to, guess ;) , I would say they are not making 600hp. I would also guess there are some other tricks.

Was waiting for that to come up. Chuck taught me all about the beauty of closed-deck! Too bad a model company that does performance engineering like Evolve didn't think of it, though. How much was this car?

Edit: When you look at the article, all you see is pictures of the styling. If they were truly proud of the engineering they should have shown under the hood instead of a snapshot of the stupid hood leuvers.

  4. well jesus christ, when you get the new server will it be more a-hole/spam proof???? what the hell hapeened???? i think everything should be locked for a short while to alleve this problem...

or at least let me be a mod for a while so i can help delete all the spam we are getting.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Only in a perfect world would replacing a server make it spam-proof. If you ever figure that out, you'll win a pulitzer prize and more. Unfortunately, assholes and spam go hand in hand. There will always be spammers and there will always be a need for anto-spamification, it's a vicious cycle.

  5. Good, thanks Chuck.

For a moment there I thought my work firewall banned me from VS because I clicked onto a post with a link to some p0rn site.

Tell them it's educational biology. I don't know where you work, but that usually flies.

Three years seems like a long time for a server, especially one as busy as this! I usually replace my computer every year and a half or so...

  6. I hate feelers. If you really wanted to do something like that why not just list it in the auction with an insane reserve. If it sell roxors. If not you know what people would pay for it.

Amen. I should have a couple goodies ready to go up on the auctions site very soon!

  7. so how does that hose bring 'cold' air into the ECU's if all of that air is right off a hot jerk radiator? yea sure while moving things can cool down a bit .. but they still will be hot ....

So it has to be plumbed back in front of the radiator? I can see it necessary to help overcome ambient temperatures from inside the engine bay, but why plumbing it there?

  8. Oh yeah, what diameter hose do I need to bleed the brake fluid?

    Thanks

I used some 6mm tygon tubing, but anything that will fit over the nipple will work. It's always recommended to use clear, so that you can see any bubbles coming out. You only need enough to make it to your container on the ground, so a foot or so.

  9. Andy ... I think you and I are on different wavelengths here B)

I've replaced all four axles on both my cars now. The last one was the passenger side on the V70, just pulled it last week ... and yes, coincidentially the seal was bad this time, but not the other three times. All four times I had fluid leak out when I pulled the axle out of the tranny, not much, just a little bit. What I'm saying is that in my experience that little bit of leaking when you pull the axle has nothing to do with the seal. The other three seals were just fine. They weren't leaking before and they don't leak now.

Yes, when I pulled the seal on V70 last week even more fluid came out, but since it took me another week to get a new seal and axle, it finally just stopped leaking after it leveled off in the tranny. I think a lot of whether the tranny will leak or not when you pull an axle has to do with how you have the car jacked up and the current fill level of the tranny. Maybe mine are overfilled?

Okay .. enough of this dead horse

Sorry I didn't have you straight, I agree with you on the fluid level and jacking/lift position.
