How much did all the materials set you back and how long did it take to do from start to finish?

North Korea put simply = world war 3 As ive said Iran is a large customer for the U.K defence market ironically and thats in recent times so they must have some reasonably capable stuff and modern equipment aswell. Admittedly the biggest force in the region as mentioned is easily turkey, however I think saudi is quite powerfull aswell as syria.

Was sure they had a larger army and certainly a bigger air force, they have at least a few hundred chieftan tanks which are of decent quality something that iraq was lacking! Im sure they use F14/F16's aswell as there jet fighters, o.k not as up to date as the likes of the F18 and later models that the US has but still a much better effort than Iraq had.

Iran wouldnt exactly be a walk over militarily, its a completely different ball game to Iraq, as in it actually has a decent air defence system something that Iraq was missing and made it very easy to get into, the Iranian army is also larger again. Iran is also one of the U.K's defence suppliers biggest customers, admittedly the stuff isnt as technically advanced as the US stuff but in the right hands i.e the U.K's its more than a match for most the equipment out their, however im not sure on the state of training that the whole iranian defence system would be in. Also im sure they have a fair bit of kit lying around from Russia and China so could all be used to a nasty mix.

Why would razor defend it?? Thought America already owned Canada! North Korea probably a bad idea unless want to start world war 3.

I dont think Iran is helping the Iraq situation either, have a few friends in the British army and they say nearly all the chew in Iraq is caused by Iranian insurgents heading into Iraq to cause as much chaos as they can, if they can keep Iraq the way it is the US would have no chance of getting support to go into Iran.

Opinion here really is just sat waiting for it to start and with the inevitable that we will be dragged into it, even though blair has clearly stated he would have no involvement but thats about as truthfull as anything bush says really! Im sure in one of the news reports China gets a massive majority of oil and gas from Iran so they wont be happy if anything happens which isnt a good start!

Yeah theirs the obvious oil agument for Iraq but I though Iran had quite good reserves of the black stuff?

Just curious what the mood is in the US about the Iran situation? What are peoples opinions on the situation and does anyone really think bush would be mad enough to start a war with the iranians?
