Hehe, in this case, no. Walbro pump can be fitted into the stock plastic fuel pump housing pretty easily and they're dirt cheap too.

All the details available on the TX board, but I'm posting this here for a bit more exposure. This one will be in the Dallas area. It will begin Friday evening, the 22nd at Denton Dragway around 7 or 8 pm and we'll probably be there until around 12 or 1. PM Reid or Drew if you plan on coming up 35 to Dallas for directions or if you're coming up 45, PM me. Next day, we'll probably meet somewhere for food. Ryan's (BigBegum) family owns a restaurant in West Plano, so that may be an option. We are then thinking about running dyno's here locally. I know of a few good places. Then, maybe a couple hours at Speedzone (think Go-Karts on meth). Eat again and then go take pictures. Hang out some more. Sunday morning: eat somewhere. I'm guessing this is when most of the out of town guys are gonna start heading back.

Shox.com has the OEM Sachs for $359. You guys do the math there. Me thinks the shite will hit the fan when the majority of the VS population wakes up. Still, the part numbers were different on mine versus the OEM ones that were on the car and I am pretty happy with how the kit works. I guess it's hard to say for sure about the sport characteristics of the shock until I try something else on the car. Maybe I'll try some Koni's just for experimental purposes and switch the Sachs to the S70.

Don't cheap out on a boost controller. A'pexi AVC-R to control boost by RPM works great.

Time to clear some stuff up. When I was installing my Weitec's, I also noticed that the shocks/struts were made by Sachs. This made me curious, so I checked the Sachs part number on the struts/shocks that were already on the car and the Weitec/Sachs ones that were still in the box. Guess what. They're not the same.

Ouch! Maybe invest in a skid plate? What sucks even more about this is that that lip is no longer in production. Can CF be repaired?
